Placements in the college is very good. They ensure that the each and every student gets placed before they finish the enginnering course in a very well company with a good package. Also very good number of companies come to the college for recruiting students in their company
Faculties are much experienced and have good concept delivery ability.
It have all the lab facilities which is needed for good learning and even research perspective.
Dislikes
It doesn't have separate playground for every sports.
There is only one hostel for boys for all the four years as a result of which most of the students resides in pgs nearby.
The building structure looks monotonous as they have same design.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm in the ECE branch . Which is the highest package holder till now. Faculties in the college are pretty good and the noted that they provide are much better than the colleges nearby or I can say many colleges under COMEDK.
Improvement: they can improve by introducing some conferences, seminars and talks by renowned personalites in the electronics field frequently.
Exams are held in two parts:
I) INTERNALS : 3 internals will be there before semester end exam out of which best of 2 will be considered for evaluation of 50% marks.
II) Semester End: it contains total 50% weightage.
As I say earlier placement is so good... maximum students got the placement....I can say 90 students out of 100 got the placement but package may be different...on campus placement is very good ..so don't worry
The facilities related to electronics and communication branch
The amount of clubs and there performance
Its large size compared to any other colleges in Bangalore
Dislikes
Lack of knowledge in coding faculties and other teachers also
The lack of usability of space which the college owns
The placement and other opportunities after the completion of course
Placement Experience:
The placement are not that much fancy they are like average or below average. But there is always a possibility of outside campus placement and if you are good enough you can also get good placement from the college itself.
Companies do come to this college but not the good ones generally those which gives low package and pick large amount of students.
At the end the placement is around 5.5-6LPA
My advice is that if you are coming to this college then you have to prepare your mind that not to depend on college for placement build your own skills and apply for outside campus placement.
Faculties are so supportive and they always take care of their students.
Officials are very supportive specially deans and principal sir they are very helpful.
Campus Life is good and there are so many fests and events in which you can develop your skills.
Dislikes
Food court is good but serving facility is slow.
Attendance ratio of 85% is mandatory. I think it should be less.
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is good. After third semester you can opt for internship and you can find placements after third year onwards. Our highest package is of 52 lakhs and average package is of 6 lakhs. Most of the students got placed and a lot of big companies visited our campus like TCS, Wipro, Adobe, etc. So if you have good potential and skills you can easily get good placement. My palns are to get a good placement in a big company after
getting the degree.
LUST AND GREEN CAMPUS AND IT'S SPRED ACROSS 160 ACERS. AND ENVIRONMENT IS ALSO TOO GOOD.
INFRASTUCTURE IS ALSO GOOD HAVE EACH BLOCK FOR DIFFRENT BRANCH.
LIBRARY IS TOO GOOD A WIDE SPACE AND WIFI FACILITIES AVALIABLE
Dislikes
ROI IS NOT THAT MUCH SATISFIED FOR COMEDK STUDENTS
85 % ATTENDANCE IS COMPOLSORY AND THEY ARE STRICT FOR IT
SENIOR JUNIOR INTERACTION IS ALSO LESS NOT THAT MUCH.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of RNS if followed by VTU university .
I opted this course because Data science is high demand in the current job market.
This Curriculum is highly oriented towards my goal and updated in 2022.
Area for improvements in the course curriculum are needed some where they need to add some more skill based courses that wil help us .
The made garden like structure in the middle of the campus which is quite good
My course which is electronics and communication deals various kinds of aspects so its kind interesting
Dislikes
Overall infrastructure of the college is not that good
They have a very strict attendance policy which is so far not good at all
The sports facility in our college is very less as compared to other Bangalore colleges
Placement Experience:
As I am in first year I didn't know exactly about from which semester students become eligible for campus placements but I have heard from seniors that they from which semester students become eligible for campus placements but I have heard from seniors that you are eligible from 3rd year itself various kinds of companies visited a college like LNT Microsoft, Adobe and many more which of the great package the highest package was around 52 lakhs previous year and this year around 24 lakh the average package of college is around 4.5 to 5 lakh the percentage of today and getting placed is around 80% but according to my opinion it's less I have planned to give a GATE exam
Placements received and offers for the effortful people
Dislikes
Management as a whole the official interaction is mediocre
The cultural club interaction with the non-participants is again mediocre
Student Snaps:
Placement Experience:
Our college has a placement record of about 98percent students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester
The highest package is about 62LPA but our branch's highest package was about 29LPA and average package is about 8-9LPA
Teacher are good and supportive, helpful in nature.
Campus is good and sports facilities are also good there is also gym in our college free for sports club members
Food court of our college are very good both north and south Indian food are available.
Dislikes
Placement are not too good of our college. Like mechanical and civil
Return of investment is not too good of our college.
Placement Experience:
As I am in 1st year, i don't have much knowledge of campus placement.
More than 70 companies come in our college like wipeo, Infosys, Texas, cognizant and many more.
Average package vary branch to branch, in our ece branch 5 lakh is the average.
Last year our college get the highest salary of 54 lakh.
The infrastructure is good( not flashy but it's good enough)
A good mix of people and faculty members(No ragging)
Dislikes
Communication barrier for comedk people.
Vtu exams are tough to score(Not like internals and checking is questionable sometimes)
Assignments and lab(Can be a bit hectic sometimes)
Course Curriculum Overview:
I took ECE in RNSIT as I heard it was pretty good and my rank was also not very good. The faculty members are very good and placement record is very good as well, you have to maintain attendance and assignments. There are labs in first year as well. Vtu exams are also tough to score, internals are very easy to score.
I am having a good experience in this college. The faculty members are supportive and encourage students in both academics and extracurricular activities. The campus environment is good and there are various opportunities to learn new skills through workshops, events, and projects. The infrastructure and labs are well maintained, and the college also focuses on overall student development. It is a good place for students who are willing to learn and grow.

Being a part of Q Club at and serving as the Head has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my college life. Q Club is not just a technical club — it is a platform where students get opportunities to explore innovation, teamwork, leadership, and practical learning beyond classrooms.
The club constantly encourages students to participate in workshops, technical events, project discussions, and collaborative activities that genuinely help in skill development. What makes Q Club special i

RNSIT offers an incredible research ecosystem for students. I’m grateful to Dr. Akshay Arjun for his mentorship; his guidance was vital in securing our patent for a NanoPhosphor-based Gamma Radiation Detection device. The college actively supports innovation through the Undergraduate Research Forum (URF), providing stipends and hosting competitions like Buildathons. There is a great emphasis on interdisciplinary projects that help us turn ideas into real-world success.
