Likes

The campus is very vast. And as a student for 4 years I liked roaming in and around the campus.
Especially as a Civil Engineering Student I really liked the land provided in the college and they allowed us to use it ourselves.

Dislikes

There are few things I disliked about the college. I did not the placement department

Course Curriculum Overview

Although the course curriculum is not upto date, we can many basics things about the subject. The Labs are well equipped and is up to codal standards. Although I can say that present students have updated curriculum and can be better. We were unlucky as we were the COVID batch.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees varies from course to course. That is the fees for computer science and Information science is around 7 lakhs to 8 lakhs. But for core branches like civil and mechanical, it is 2 lakhs to 3 lakhs. But is we get admitted through CET or any other entrance exams our fees will be approximately 1 lakh.

Campus Life

A annual fest is conducted every year which we enjoyed a lot. Though I was sad because our department fest was cancelled due to reasons. I really enjoyed the Parichay event which had performance from Brodha V.

Admission

Getting into core branches like civil and mechanical is easy as the cutoff required for these courses is moderate. But if you are planning to get admission either in Computer science or Information science you need be higher in the rank. Thought it is worth getting into software courses. I was interested in civil engineering.

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is ok and all the faculties are well educated. They have enough knowledge to teach us. They refers to only few lecturers here. But most of the faculties have developed good relations with us students. Although out initial interactions were not good, our final days were awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cybersecurity curriculum in Dsu is designed to provide both theoretical foundations and practical experience in key areas such has security, linus and other related topics . With labs and workshops we get hands on experience on real world problems which help us during placement and internship . The faculty and the curriculum are up to date and help us learn the tools which are currently needed. Cybersecurity isn't just about IT it's also related to law(cybercrime laws),business(risk management) so introducing courses related to them can help students In cybersecurity certification is important so helping students to prepare for certification such has cissp, CompTIA and others can help students a lot Coming to the exams it's not that stressful we will have a month or two to prepare and me personally think 1 week is enough to clear it

Over 60% of students got placed this year. We have a very supportive place we get a placement of placement opportunities from the final year and the sixth seven semester as well Top companies such as Accenture, TCS amaedus Schneider electric Siemens JSW, Wipro Z scaler. The highest package was given by Z scaler of 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is fivelakhs.

The placements at presidency university offers is average, the placements percentage is high but the packages are low, the highest was around 13L per Annum and average of around 3L per annum. Students are eligible for placements in third year, while having many opportunities for internships during the period of 4 years. There are various companies that visit our college for placements such as shell, tech Mahindra, dell, capgemini, and many more companies. My plan after degree is get a high paying job either through placements or self searched interviews

It's my personal experience

Placement Experience:

Placement of this college is decent. If students give thier maximum they will get it and the good part is, the college pushes us for placements and introduces many more things for good placements like placement programs. If they failed to give us campus placement, it is quite tough to get off campus placemnt because of the competiton.

RNSIT - A student's dream fulfilled

Eligibilty of the courses happen through the rank of entrance exams such KCET, COMEDK and other such related exams. RNSIT has quite good cutoff for the top branches.So, we have 3 internal examinations known as Continous Internal Evaluation(CIE) and one Semester End Examination (SEE) per semester which is quite manageable.College also has reservations which are from the entrance exams you write both in caste category as well as financial category....Read More
