Placements are good for CS / IT / EXTC.
For Mech//ETRX, they're just average ( just like every other engineering college )
The average package for CS/IT would least be around 5-6 LPA. Slightly lower for EXTC
For Mech/ETRX, 4 LPA maybe.
I chose this course because of my family's enthusiasm for this. As my dad himself is a Mechanical Engineer. So I also cultivated my habits and interest since childhood
The faculty-student ratio is 300+:2000+
All faculties have almost done their Ph.D. mostly in Strength of Material and subjects like this
The terms are in November or December and other in May
Have good practical sessions and detailed curriculum. Admission process during 3016 was based on guidelines mentioned by dte. Currently they are conducting their own entrance exams. Faculties are quite helpful they will easily guide you when you ask for help. Campus placements have quite improved these years so getting placed is not a problem anymore.
From semester 6 students become eligible for campus placement. Campus placement is good and dream jobs are offered to some extraordinary students. Microsoft is one of the big-name companies visited the college for recruitment. Different packages ranging from 30000 to 100000 are offered based on your performance. 80% of students get placement and others opt for further studies. My plan after getting a degree is to see whether I get my dream job and if not then encourage in further studies.
college provides practical based learning and provides opportunities to do internships or research work along with opportunity to do start ups. college placement is decent enough (better than 80% of other institutions in mumbai)
The institution is pretty good are as it is now a private university. I hope this will the environment and learning experience of the students even better.
