Course Curriculum Overview
As I was a diploma student I got directly thourough 2nd year. 2nd and 3rd year both had in’s house papers which were quiet regressive. Teaching is at par with MU. Final year examination were conducted by Mumbai university. We had equal theory and practical knowledge and well versed labs were available with quality teaching staff. Yes we had many industrial visits based of subjects per semester.
Placement Experience
Placement cell used to work regressively. We had many companies used to come and at that time Avg packet they used to offer around 4 lacs per annum INR. We had altitude test preparation during the placement season. Staffs were quiet helpful.
College Events
Symphony, IShourE we had two major events used to be the gala time. Entire week was only for events where all the small small competition used to framed. Business E cell was also a great idea. Cultural team and drama singing acting. On last day of event we used to have prom nights.
Fee Structure And Facilities
That time fees used to be 50,000 We used to pay fees by cheque / DD only that time. Currently may be they must be accepting all form of payments except Cash In our time cash fees were also accepted. We never had any extra payment to be done only fees
Fees and Financial Aid
I had opted for TATA charitable trust scholarship. As per my merit. You need to submit your marksheet and fees receipt at Churchgate mumbai and they used to provide the fees.
Campus Life
Campus life was good it was regressive. Actually engineering is very tough course due to number of subjects. For mechanical engineering 95% we were boys hardly 5-6 girls out of 120 students. As far as politics is concern nothing major and group was quiet nice :) we enjoyed a lot
Hostel Facilities
No I was not part of hostel room. As it needs 200 characters for this question I’ll say hostels were neat and clean based on my fellow friends who used to stay there. Food wise it was Okay they always wanted home cooked food
Alumni/Alumna
Yes we have an alumni network with website and google group. I’m part of it. They also regularly arrange alumni party annually. I’m every sector Kjsce students are placed so whenever we need a help they are there to help
Admission
I got thourough my diploma CAP. State level rank 6 in the year July 2007. Common allotment process occurs post final year of diploma engineering college is out You need to fill an online application form and your choice of college you have to select based on the ranking and feasibility.
Faculty
In thouree years of engineering course we must have attended 40+ subjects and avg 20-25 lectures. Average age must be around 30-35years with well versed industrial experience and knowledge. Many professors were PHD and pursuing it. Minimum masters degree.
