Course Curriculum Overview

2

Teaching methids do need improvement. All sorts of engagement is appreciated. My curriculum isnt as advanced, and this is where i regret since RAI is a new branch, as a concept its great but it lacks as a branch. The curriculum isnt well defined. The classes and lectures lack depth, Engrossment.

Internships Opportunities

3

As a first year i havent quite started an internship, although as per my observation internship opportunities in my college are quite lacked. Few of my friends got their internships through referrals and not through college. So its every man for themselves here. Although we do need atleast 10 months of internship to get our degree.

Placement Experience

4

After the 6th semester itself people get placed or try to by the end of last semester. The median salary is around 8 lakhs. Highest salary this year was 52lpa. Most students go for businesses as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees paid:450000, this fees is with scholarship for me, since i opted for RAI which is a new branch. There are more scholarships based on merit, i secured a merit based scholarship for 35%. While some secure for 65% and some even for free. To maintain this scholarship throughout all the college years you need to have a chpa of 7.5+ and attendance of 75% and above.

Campus Life

5

So this since i have been here, there has been abhiyantriki, which was organized in the month of october. Different types of books are available althoguh they are limited to text books only. There are many student run groups and councils, in fact i am inbsome.

Admission

I couldnt apply to many colleges, since my score wasnt upto mark. This college was like a second chance. I have seen students with marks as low as ground accepted into this college. Admission is altough completely merit based, just with less marks there is a possibility of not securing your wanted branch.

Faculty

5

Faculties do care about studies, although the curriculum is very theoritical, even the practicals feel disengaged. Each faculty have their own ways and methods of teaching, most good. Faculty to student ratio is 1:70. Exams questiins do change, although the questions are at a basuc level, this is from first years perspective. My favouritr faculty was physics. We have extra curriculars as well like PCS(public communication class) twaching us about group discussions, etc. And PBL (project based lab) teaching us how to encounter differenr projects and the use.

Night Life

5

Nightlife is the best in my college, good security also. Gym is accessible only for Hostelites i think. Cafeteria is good with all the amenities and hygenic.hostel timings for girls is 11 pm and a fine of 1k for anyone entering after that time. Famous hangout spots inside the uni are the slope, engg canteen, nescafe while outside are near gate 1 and 2. The locality is somewhat safe. Actually it is quite safe.

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.
