Teaching wise it's better here for Shimoga
Infrastructure is better but still developing
Attendance is not strict so it's easy to bunk sometimes

Dislikes

No campus life only one fest per year so no much enjoyment
There are some teachers who doesn't have the proper knowledge about subject
Hostel is the worst no good food no proper facilities according to the fees we pay

Placement Experience:

Placements are not much good It was good before covid-19 but now it has been reduced In computer science out of 200 only 13 got placed this year Though if you get placed the companies will be mass recruiter mostly

One of the Major things about our college that is underappreciated is the lowkey Oldschool and Peaceful Environment of the Campus
The Faculty pool of each branch in our college has an upperhand if it comes to the experience quotient they have, many have been teaching since years

Dislikes

Very unrealistic expectations are fed while giving admission, the college barely gets quality placement opportunities
New methods of teaching and adaptability is lacking. We are in such an unpredictable era of tech but our lecturers are failing to evolve
The college equipments and lab facilities do not help you grow, very old , messy and under upgraded

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is oudated and very theoretical. No scope for learning or innovation. The real world applications are very and far and to cope up with this people often rely on courses outside the college The exams are easy to pass yet tricky and constantly changing schemes affect the clarity of important concepts too much of unnecessary subjects and programs hamper the core branch learning space and make one run behind marks

Our college has very good and huge campus and there will be many events organised by our college students in which we will participate where we have social life and other circular activities which makes us active
Faculty of our college are student friendly and they give assistance not only in academics but also regarding placements and other activities and also motivates us to study higher education so that we have better idea of future
Campus is one of the great feature of our college because it is filled with trees and plants, environment makes us feel better whenever we feel down and also the canteen is very nice and have tasty and clean food

Dislikes

There is very less things to dislike our college but sometimes time the lab equipments don't work properly and that needs to be replaced so that students can learn from new equipments and understand it better
We have great bus facilities but sometimes no of people inside the bus exceeds the passenger limit

Our college come under the vtu university and sometimes the evaluation pattern is harsh and many students fail and then after revaluation they may pass. So it's better to write the relevant answers in order to avoid the above situations

Ambience of college this really best, surrounded by green and well maintained building.
HOD is really supportive to student development
college is filled with student development related programs. Both curricular and extra curricular activities held.

Dislikes

Faculty rather interested in completion of syllabus
Needed more practical implementations in circular and syllabus.
Never felt like PG student, it felt like 10th student in the classroom whole day. because of syllabus.

TCS and Infosys are major companies appeared and other companies were offerd internships while in college. major attentions goes for engineering students thats really sad thing. Our batch almost got free trainings from different institutions but placement were really low I got offer from TCS soo waiting fot joining.

Maintanence of the college was too good.
Faculty is good. Academic exploration is very interesting
Enjoying the vibrant atmosphere, events.

Dislikes

Financial stress because As a management student i didnt get any scholarship.
There is no campus selection for MCA students.
College fee is too much especially for Management Quota.

MCA programs are designed to align with the latest technologies and industry needs. A curriculum is deigned to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in future academic pursuits and in life beyond school. In cirriculum- Audience, Technology, Updates, Learning Models. In Teaching - Feedback, Routine, Gamification. 3 Hours of exams. Sometimes 3 hours is not enough because we have lot to wright.

College is very well maintained,by staffs as well as all workers
There are separate blocks and buildings for every department
College is very spacious and qualified professors and lectures

Dislikes

Placements are not well maintained, placement percentage is less
Student training activities are less and extra curricular activities are less
Some teaching staffs are not serious is their teaching

Placements of our college is average, cannot say it is best, But it provides placements for 50 percent of the students in the college,in recent past years electronics and communication engineering has got highest placement offers compared to any other branch
