Likes

Our college has very good and huge campus and there will be many events organised by our college students in which we will participate where we have social life and other circular activities which makes us active
Faculty of our college are student friendly and they give assistance not only in academics but also regarding placements and other activities and also motivates us to study higher education so that we have better idea of future
Campus is one of the great feature of our college because it is filled with trees and plants, environment makes us feel better whenever we feel down and also the canteen is very nice and have tasty and clean food

Dislikes

There is very less things to dislike our college but sometimes time the lab equipments don't work properly and that needs to be replaced so that students can learn from new equipments and understand it better
We have great bus facilities but sometimes no of people inside the bus exceeds the passenger limit

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college come under the vtu university and sometimes the evaluation pattern is harsh and many students fail and then after revaluation they may pass. So it's better to write the relevant answers in order to avoid the above situations

Internships Opportunities

Our college organized many internship drive for 7th sem students and many people got placed through it and are doing there internship and even organized internship for use when we were in 3rd sem in college itself

Fees and Financial Aid

Detailed fee structure for students who join through government seats is approximately 1 lakh but if you come through donation then it will be 2 lakh for electronics and communication engineering department

Campus Life

As I mentioned previously the social life in our college is very good and anyone who wants to follow there passion or hobbies like singing, dancing can join and continue it here and there are many clubs which organise these events

Admission

My first option was my college because it is near my hometown and also I heard it's very nice from many seniors who have studied there therefore I chose Jawaharlal Nehru National college of engineering

Faculty

The faculty is good and they treat us equally without any discrimination and they also provide knowledge regarding academics and also provide assistance regarding the placements and exam pattern is for 100 mark and the passing mark is 35 and internal marks is for 50 and external mark is for 50

Night Life

If you stay in hostel (boys) then you can have night life but if you are a girl staying in hostel you are not allowed after 8pm and before 8pm you can enjoy eating at various places around our clg like breath and many street food

Placement Experience:

Amazon, Deloitte, Oracle and many tech companies like them are in agreement with our college for placements. Our college has a great placements opportunities as even after so many CSE students, 70% students every year gets placed with packages as high as 30 lakhs even.

a good college with good atmosphere and placements

Placement Experience:

students can be eligible for placements from 3rd year only, many companies have visited the college like TATA,Accenture and many other.The highest package for this year is about 19 lakhs , average package is about 3 lakhs,talking about the percentage our college has 77% of the college placements, i am planning to pursue higher education after my graduation

Life at IIT Dharwad - What to expect

Placement Experience:

At IIT Dharwad, students become eligible for campus placements right after their 7th semester(i.e. after the start of 4th year) and during their 3rd year, students also have opportunities to sit for internships which can later convert to PPOs. The companies that have visited our campus are Adobe, Amazon, Texas, TCS, wipro etc. The highest CTC offered was 55LPA and average package for CSE is 18-20LPA, and for the core branches is around 10-15LPA. In CSE more than 93% of the students got placed and many of other students opted for higher studies . In the core branches the placement percentage was around 85-88%. After My degree, I plan to go for a Software Engineer role.

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

Placement Experience:

We enter the placement at the end of 3rd year almost at 4th year(6th to 7th semester). The placement cell organizes various traning program, including mock interviews, group discussions, and communication skills workshops. Past 3 to 4 years more than 10 companies per year offered hiring 100+ students. But over the year the companies have come down and providing les opportunities. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc recruite students from this college. The highest package is 25LPA and the average package is around 6LPA. Due to the increase in the rate of admission, the percentage has been decresed. Almost 25 out of 100 students are getting placed in this college. After getting degree, I will try my level best to get placed in campus itself. If not, I am interested more in Competitive exams, I will focus on it.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

Placement Experience:

From the7th sem onwards campus placements are put in place for btech students. Many companies such as microsoft, google, BMW, mercedes, accenture and others look for students here. The top 100 of each branch get the highest packages with the average of that being 22lpa for the cce branch. The rest of the students that are placed have an average salary of 14 lpa. Almost all the students are placed with the placement rate being around 90% for my branch. I plan on working for 2 years after getting placed and then pursuing an MBa degree abroad to further my tenure as a valuable asset to whatever company takes me under their wing.

IIT Dharwad Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in college . Highest package was 52 lpa in 2024 and average was 9-10 lpa. But the percentage was very less in 2024 because of recession and negligence of placement cell and their bad decisions.

Lower tier Engineering colleges

I had no idea about engineering , I scored very less in KCET surprisingly . I had no one for advice and people made it so obvious that engneering is the standard of education . I did not seek proper guidance and was mislead by admission sector people referring to Electronics as both software and hardware demanding sector and there is scope to grow .
