Notification
- Those who have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% (40% for the reserved category) marks in PCM are eligible to get admission in B.E.
- Candidates who have B.E./ B.Tech Degree from any AICTE approved University are considered eligible to get admission in M.Tech course.
- Applicants who have completed Graduation with minimum 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for admission in MCA and MBA courses.
- Selection of candidates for B.E. course is done on the basis of candidates’ performance in KCET/ COMEDK-UGET.
- Admission into M.Tech is given based on candidate’s merit in KEA-PGCET or their valid GATE score.
- For admission into MCA and MBA candidates have to qualify KEA-PGCET.

JNNCE Shimoga has two-year M.Tech course in seven specializations in its academic curriculum.
Applicants who hold B.E./B.Tech Degree in any relevant discipline from AICTE approved University are eligible to get admission into the M.Tech course.
Admission of the candidates is done on the basis of their merit in Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) or based on their valid GATE score.

Key Points for M.Tech Admission:
- 80% of the total seats fall under the Government Quota and 20% falls under the Management Quota.
- Both types of seats are filled on the basis of candidate’s merit in KEA-PGCET or through applicant’s GATE score.
JNNCE, Shimoga MBA and MCA Admission 2024
The college offers MBA and MCA to candidates who have completed Graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ ST/ OBC categories) from a recognized University are eligible to apply for admission. However, for MCA it is mandatory for applicants to have studied Mathematics or Statistics at 10+2 or graduation Level.
Only those applicants are shortlisted to give admission in MCA course who have qualified Karnataka-PGCET. Selection of candidates to MBA is based on their merit in KMAT (Karnataka Management Aptitude Test)/ CMAT/ PGCET.

I personally chose this college because it is in my hometown and my parents also studied in the same college,and this college is best among most colleges around shimoga locality,and also this is old college run by National Society organisation with good ethics and values

- I don't like the bus fees systems we have to pay even if we don't travel
- And I think the fees is not worth under comedk

I chose it because it is in my home town and it is near to my house and also it is one of the good college compared to my near district so i chose it i didn't want to go to other districts and can travel from home

- The HOD of our department that is Chetan kr is very supportive and his teaching is top notch and the other faculty are also good
- The canteen of our college is well maintained and they offer good quality food
Dislikes
- The parking offered for our bikes is not sufficient it will always be crowded
- We need to pay bus fee even though ur home is beside the college

The other college I applied to was pesit and I got addmission offer from both mine and pesit colleges I opted this college for their placement rate was high compared to pesit I didn't got rejection from either of the college Eligibility for our college firstly u can opt for management seats and secondly is by writing kcet exam n getting the cutoff rank

- Placemdo, i can give negative stars, becausr telecalling jobs are recorded as placement done for engineering students
- After seletedbin tcs no opportunity for other companies its a big scam because we get tcs call letter after years.. Where others careee akraedy started

This college is very much near to my hometown and previous vatches placement record was alos too good, rank vise also good and its NBA and NAAC ACCREDITED being in hometownat my comfort this colelge was more good than nay Bangalore colleges

- College library has a vast variety of books that you can borrow.
Dislikes
- 99% of the students here are focused only on learning the syllabus and nothing more.
- There are no societies or clubs in the college. Even if you start one, you will not find students that are interested to join the club.
Admission:
I opted for this college because of my KCET rank. I wasn't eligible for any other good college. Eligibility: Pass class 12 KCET: Admission here was via KCET No other exam apart from KCET was required.

Admission process ws good . Application process through online.I took entrance exam as kcet.The application form we get in admin block and application fees was 1000.I took kcet exam it was quiet difficult and the frequency of the timing was 1 hour per the subject.

- Campus life was very good as the culture here is very descipline, good friends well mannered staffs made my college days better.
- Course was very well designed and exams schedules were very good as there was sufficient time to study well

- Am not satisfied with facualty teaching method. They have to improve way they convey stadents their knowledge.

I have taken COMMEN ENTRANCE TEST (CET) conducted by karnataka examination authority (KEA) on mid of May 2013. Based on marks scored in both CET and Pre University college are considered and CET ranking declared in June 2013. Based CET ranking I selected this college as 1st choice, as I had good ranking I got selected for this college. In the admission process rankingwise I was called for choosing course. I selected EEE. The process was very easy and supported by staff at college responded very well. Admission process started in July at this college. And in august course started. But during councilling there was no proper information given by college staff, it should be improved

- Our college supports many creative ideas .They also support startups .It has incubation centre where students can propose thier ideas and get financial support.
- Our cultural club is very active.Activities are planned throughout the term to encourage the cultural activities.
Dislikes
- Sometimes the fest can be postponed due to academic calender.
- Cafeteria food is somewhat okay .They provide the same things everyday.
Admission:
I took admission through kea cet exam. Eligible Candidates must complete their 12th standard or 2 puc. The exam application is available on the kea website. The application dates will be announced by kea . The fee should be paid online for the exam. Candidate should score above 50 % marks in their 12th and in cet 40 %. After the exam counseling process. Next seat allotment and later document verification. There will be three rounds. If students are not satisfied with the first round then they can wait for other rounds. Admission to the selected college.
