Remarks:
College is quite affordable and is number one private college in west bengal. The college is quite famous for discipline and the palcement factor. Students get to experience all kind of facilities such as lab and good faculties and also a world class library which is open 24*7

Remarks:
Possitive - IEM is better known for it's discipline, education and placement. It has a very good reputation in these fields.
Negative - Sadly, IEM has a small campus as compared to other colleges. Infrastructure is also not at that level. However, education is very good which maintains its reputation.

Facilities are huge and faculties are enough and knowledgeable and intelligent very clean environment and only infrastructure is little bit bad due to space issue we don't have a huge ground as compared to other colleges

Negative remarks would be the college uniform and school like discipline which seems not required since students are 18 and above and matured enough to understand. Also sometimes the college tends to adopt corporate policies which may not be suitable for the students

Negative is only that one has to leave the college after four years. It has one of the best ambience as compared to other engineering colleges. Also the teachers and every other staff is totally helpful.

Positive:- Anti ragging,24/7 library, medical facility, faculty and teaching quality, disciplined , Proper funds for Research & Development
Negative:- small campus, dress code, Accommodation and food are not great.

Placements faculties library canteen discipline
Bad remark:
Infrastructure and restricted usage of canteen arena
Limited no. Of books,No interaction between juniors and seniors.
Conclusion:
You can surely go for this option but be ready for just study nothing else. No playground no extra activity is promoted to a large extent . But studies is a perfect level.

The final verdict about the collage in my opinion -" IEM, Kolata is the best self-financed collage in all over West Bengal in all respect".

Overall, I liked the way the college management worked hard to maintain the quality of academic activities. However, I do feel that they sometimes went overboard with enforcing school-like discipline, which took the fun out of college life.
