"Inside Guru nanak dev engineering college : An honest review of engineering education and campus life."

Faculty:

1) I am Btech civil engineering student of 3rd year. 2) Faculty to student ratio is good its around 1:30 3) Professors teach very well during tutorial classes where students are less as compared to normal classes but in classes they dont teach good as tutorial classes . Tutorial classes are basically to clear doubts. They are help once a week for every subject. 4)Professor Varinder singh I liked the most due to the way he interacts with student in class along with his real life examples while teaching. 5)I cannot write the name of professor whom i dont like due to privacy concers but i will explain the reasons as the professor only explain from PPT . so i dont like this style of teaching it makes classroom boring. 6)Examinations are easy as i mentioned earlier also, still amny students fails as they dont study.

Various informative seminars are provided at least 5-6 times in a month .

Teachers are very supportive and passionate about theru passion. They provide full and accurate information about any topic . Some teachers motivate and influence students to take part in other curriculum activities . I like my mentor as well as my c++ teacher mrs. Manpreet kaur because she always helps students towards any problem either it is in documentation or any other issue .

Faculty members are friendly.they also provide guidance about different topic.some of them are really supportive they provide educational trips.even provide fair if a group of students ta wants to visit somewhere for knowledge . Some of senior teachers in our department are rude .

Honest review for gndec

One is free to visit any teacher for knowlegde
Some teachers are supportive for extra activities
Everyday there is a workshop or a seminar in the campus

Dislikes

No trips are organised at all by the faculty
Some teachers are not really good with student they dont provide much guidance and often shout at students for asking more questions

The faculty to student ratio is alright but almost every month a teacher resigns college it disturbs the syllabis alot.some faculty members are really genuine nd easy to talk with ,while many of them are not that good,they use poor language for the student especially some senior teachers in bca department,they keep on insulting students about everything,even when a question is asked they ignore it nd donot support much extra activities which are one of most important even they nag about the extra activities organised by the college itself.another thing is about the security guards they are somehow rude to students but support rich students to even get their cars inside the campus and roam there disturbing others .

Best engineering college in ludhiana

I like the academic faculty of gndec as it is very polite and knowledgeable with great problem solving skills
I also like the peer to peer interactions as it helps me gain knowledge in various fields

There is a good amount of faculty available for evey student and the faculty to student ratio is well maintained. I found the faculty of gndec very approachable as it is very helpful and polite i liked my physics professor jaspreet sir and i liked my maths professor mr sukhminder singh sir the most as he made studying maths a fun subject for me i like mostly every faculty member i met till date. There are several exams happening monthly and more than half the class failed in programming as they found it difficult due to negligence by the programming teacher

Not much things i found wrong their but somehow few of them teacher are very aggresive sometime but its good for us they taking care of us only this is i feel sometime annoying

all the college faculties are very copperative they always ready to help us in very manner they are very good by nature and the exams pattern was same as tha every college gradding system their pst assignments final exams bad scorer got repair everything is same as the every college do

All the professor ars punjabi and some of only done m.tech

Faculty members are good enough to deliver the content but some the professor are just doing his time pass. They should must aware about how people are paying for the study but some of the professor I just wasting the time of students but at the same point some of the professor faculty in mechanical department itself is a very very humble and very highly qualified and very highly appreciable to deliver the content

College faculty is good and approachable except when they know they are wrong. For example we wanted to meet our chief warden to extend the in timings for our hostel ( which was 5:30 in winters) and though the warden was in campus he made excuses for a week to avoid the meeting.

GNDEC Perfect Review

The teachers are very supportive and of kind nature

The teaching quality is not upto the mark because of following the same previous curriculum from 2000's.

I am Computer Science student , I found my some of teachers are good but majority are lacking the current updates about the technology they are just following the same textbook style teaching. There will be 2 mid sem exams in every semester than proceed with the final end sem exams .
