Best engineering college in ludhiana

I found this college as best in ludhiana because it offers various facilities for a student which motivated me to take admission in this college and also when i asked my peers everyone told me to take admission here as it was best in ludhiana for engineering. the curriculum prepare me enough to have a vast practical knowledge in field of electronics and Communication as im pursuing btech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I sometimes feel the teaching methods could be improved in various subjects like english, programming etc. The frequency and timing of the exams are well organized and i think the difficulty tends to be in between easy and normal

Recently an internship was offered by wipro giving a stipend of 18-20k per month which was pretty good as they were offering various fields for this internship and charging around 3000 for 3 months training

From 7th semester or 4th year students get eligible for campus placements and companies like infosys, wipro, TCS,IBM and tech mahindra visit gndec for placements and in 2022-2023 632 students were placed with a median salary of about 4.75 LPA. Around 80% of students get placements via gndec which is a huge number. My plans after getting the degree is to become skilled in various fields and apply for jobs which are suitable for me

I am jaiinderveer singh pursuing btech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and i will be paying around 1 lakh per year but first year it was 1.2 lakhs My batchmates availing pms scheme pay around 40000 per year there are several scholarship schemes in my college and also a tuition fee waiver for needy people which is availed on behalf of student's merit in class 12th board exam

My overall experience with campus life is very pleasing as i found no difficulty at all till now there are several tech fests like tech mela around February and apex festival which is celebrated in November. There is a vast range of books available in the college central library you can avail them by applying for the library membership card. There are projectors in each and every classroom to teach via laptops. There are many types of sports in gndec like football, volleyball, basketball, tug of war, 100m race, 400m race etc. it also have sports meet event which takes place in February. There are various clubs in gndec like ISTE, IETE, SCIE, TNP etc. Which offers practical knowledge in their respective fields

I applied in pcte college ludhiana and gndec ludhiana i got a confirmed admission in btech in computer science engineering specialized in AI and ML at pcte college ludhiana but i wanted to take admission in gndec as it is more reputed than pcte and also a very old and valued college and i first got admission in btech in electrical engineering in gndec ludhiana i took on this opportunity then changed my branch to btech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission process is that you first have to wait for ptu to start online counselling then you can register in the counseling for 2000 rupees and if not selected in every round of ptu counseling there is a last chance at gndec when it organizes a direct counseling session distributing seats merit wise for btech in electrical u must have at least 65-70% in 12th boards exams then if you are offered a branch change then u can by giving 1000 rupees. My admission went smoothly but keep in mind u have to give 70000 rupees at direct counselling or just before admission if u are not availing any type of fee waiver

There is a good amount of faculty available for evey student and the faculty to student ratio is well maintained. I found the faculty of gndec very approachable as it is very helpful and polite i liked my physics professor jaspreet sir and i liked my maths professor mr sukhminder singh sir the most as he made studying maths a fun subject for me i like mostly every faculty member i met till date. There are several exams happening monthly and more than half the class failed in programming as they found it difficult due to negligence by the programming teacher

No i did not face any GD, interview or written test for admission it was based on the merit regarding the class 12th boards exam. The admission takes place in gndec according to merit system and there is no preparation needed

Since im a dayscholar i have less knowledge about the night life of my college campus but hearing from hostlers i think its pretty good they mentioned having late night study sessions with peers helped them learn so much
