Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is old. There is need of major update on in curriculum. But some teachers are supportive they organize workshops and seminar almost everyday for knowledge. There is need of more real life challenge to be taught in the classes
Internships Opportunities
I have seen many seniors being interned in different companies . Internships are also provided by the campus in companies like netsmatz. They are offered internships according to their degrees. Sometimes the companies also hire them as employees.
Placement Experience
About 45% of students have got placed by the campus. The skilled students can easily get placed here . Most of placements are in companies like infosys, some have also being placed incompanies like Amazon but their percentage is very low . Highest package was about 30 lpa and average is 6lpa .
Fees and Financial Aid
This is one of most affordable college one can find in Ludhiana.my fees is around 2.5 lake for the whole degree. No additional fees is there. They provide a lot of scholarships also .financial aid is also provided if a child is needed .I have also heard about merit scholarships
Campus Life
My overall experience is good in here . I have made many new friends here and attended many events including tech exhibitions . There are many sports events also happening . Students can spend their leisure time in sports complex. There are many social groups and clubs that keep organizing workshops and seminars happening everyday.
Admission
As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college . The admission here was from 2 rounds of open counseling and I got admission in 2 nd round. The cutoff for my course was about 85%. There was no such exam as entrance exam . But there are some Sikh quota examinations.
Faculty
Faculty members are friendly.they also provide guidance about different topic.some of them are really supportive they provide educational trips.even provide fair if a group of students ta wants to visit somewhere for knowledge . Some of senior teachers in our department are rude .
Night Life
I haven't spent much night time in college but I have heard from my friends that it is decent boys can go out about 9 pm . There are about 4 canteens here . Hostel life is also good here . Mess good is ok ok . There are many cafes around the college . Even gurudwara Alamgir sahib is also very close to college.
