Government Engineering College Idukki Faculty

In each depeartment approximately 22 faculties are working. Faculties are well qualified and they had gained their graduation from NITs and IITs. Faculties are very approachable and helpful for students. Each semester consists for 2 series exams and a main semester exam.

The faculty to student ratio may vary over time . Some faculties are good in sense of their helping mentalty and some are not . I belongs to 2019 scheme ktu. Each semester consists of two series examinations . The internal marks of 50 are to be given in such a way that 25 from the average of two series examinations , 10 for attendance and 15 for assignment. Then the external examination for 100 marks . Together a paper consists of 150 marks (100 external and 50 internal) . There are a wide range of students who fails to clear the examinations . Due to their inadequate knowledge, and scams during valuation.

As a government engineering College.Faculties are highly qualified.Most of the teachers have PhD.Each class has atleast 2 class advisors for controlling.faculty and student relationships are healthy.They give enough freedom.Evrey 6 months there is semester exam and 2 series exam is conducted before semester exam.Lab exams are also available.Most of the exams are difficult.30% students fail in every year.This curriculum is hard but help us to maintain our vision to a better engineer

The faculty student ratio is about 1:30. Every department has quite experienced faculties. Our department faculties are very dedicated. They take classes every hours and continuous evaluation are also made. Lab hours are provided cleverly and practical guiding is ensured. There will be 2 internal exams and one final end semester exam fo each semester. For lab exam one internal and one external exam is conducted.

They are so supprotive. The way of teaching is good. But some of them are not giving propernotes on the subjects.Provide good guidance on our projects. And also give support for extra curriculae activities.

Faculties are best as they are transferred from all the Government Engineering Colleges of the Kerala. Faculties with best qualifications and experience are their for the support of the students. Teachers are easily approachable and willing to provide any assistance for the students. Teaching and mentorships provide by the faculties are wonderful and faculties with different fields of intrest and qualifications are available.

The faculty members are very supportive and they are very much friendly towards the students. The are very sincere in their teaching. The teaching is very good they cover everything and takes lectures and do gives notes.

Faculties graduated from top institutes and they have a outstanding knowledge in core subject as in the designing and theoretical aspects. They are very helpful in preparing for our university exams. They are also like friends to us

In my college teachers are higly qualified except the temperary teachers and staff .the perment staff in our college is more qualified they teaches very well.In the lab also there are some temperary staff they also little bit not have some qualifications for that job for avoiding these things there are very good but these things does not affect our studies and college life

The online provision and phone calls are allowed and the proper doubt clearing sessions through google meet, google classroom and moodle apps and also zoom meetings are conducted, the feedback system is transparent to students and it helps us a lot to give suggestions.
