Government Engineering College Idukki in my POV

The curriculum is well structured for the latest teaching and learning methods. The course computer science and engineering is one of the fascinating field considering the present scenario and the teaching methods for tutoring are perfect by the teachers. Exams are frequently done at the college for the internals and the semester examination are conducted by the university.

The Campus provide a placement for the students and the placement percentage of the college is 60%. All the main core companies for all the branches will visit the campus and will intake students based on their performance. The placements for CSE and IT branch are more in the college.

The fee structure is fixed by the government and since it's government college only merit seats are available and the fees are based on the category of the students and their fee waver schemes. For reservation of students the fix will be less than General category. All the Government scholarship is available and can be easily accessed by the students.

The college will have the annual tech and cultural festivals happening in the campus. Annual sports meet will also took place in the campus. The technical organisations like IEEE will conduct flagship technical events in the campus.

The admission for the college is only through KEAM (Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical Entrance) all caste based and income based reservations are available and the admission are based on the entrance examination.

Faculties are best as they are transferred from all the Government Engineering Colleges of the Kerala. Faculties with best qualifications and experience are their for the support of the students. Teachers are easily approachable and willing to provide any assistance for the students. Teaching and mentorships provide by the faculties are wonderful and faculties with different fields of intrest and qualifications are available.
