Remarks

I have given my marklist for many collages and this collage have only given me an admission. This is a very nice collage. It is in near of my house and I can go and come daily. The teachers in here will teach nicely and all the students can understand the teaching. At the exam time also we can write many of the answers and can get high marks.

This is a very nice collage. The students ratio is also is very nice and the teaching facilities is also very good. The faculty is very talented and the review about the teaching is also very good. The term exams was very timely and all of us have got very nice marks because of the good teaching.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure in this collage is very low and even the poor people can also afford it. It is a very good idea that even the poor people can also afford the fees. The cost to study is very low. There are many scholarships in this collage and I did not got any of the scholarship thus I don't know more about the scholarships. The poor people have many of the scholarships and that helps them to study nicely and live nicely in this collage.

Campus Life

The campus is a very nice and non pollution area in this city. There are many extra curricular activities in this collage and even the annual fest is celebrated very nicely. In this collage the library is in a very big floor. So all the students can increase their knowledge by reading that for free. The amenities in the classroom is also very good. The sports day is also done every year and the students will be healthy.

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The length of course curriculum is very short. It is very difficult for both students and teachers to complete the syllabus in limited time period.The exam timing are also very conjusted and students are facing many difficulties because of it .

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
