the biggest consideration was that dbit had 51% catholic minority reservation for all the engineering programs. There are other colleges which have this reservation, but relatively dbit has good campus facilities and well equipped labs. I had been to many other colleges before filling out the forms and i felt this campus was really good. There are a very few engineering colleges in Mumbai which have a ground. During the campus visit i saw, dbit had 3 separate in-campus grounds for respective sports. So this was also a significant driving factor to take admission in this college.

College has ground. After lecs we can football n other sports. The college came up in the online process so i selected the college that i got. Then i search for the college on internet. It was rated quite good and also had the normal facilities that every college has. Main thing that i searched was for college placement and it was also satisfactory.

I had heard about the college from my relatives who studied here before. Being an engineering student, the college also encourages us to be more creative and take part in many cultural events as well.

It was closer to my house compared to other colleges. It has good facilities, really good canteen. I took a tour before applying the campus was quite nice consisting of 2 grounds and a separate parking area. Different departments were provided different buildings along with the labs my department (comps) alone had 13 labs. Also I had quite a lot of friends which were already studying here so this was a good option for me.

Good amount of campus placement. Many of my acquaintances also said that college provided good quality of teaching. It was also okay for me to travel to Kurla. Also, it kind of give exposure to outside world.

1) The reputation of the college was good. 2) I heard that the computer engineering department was really good. 3) This college offered campus placement. 4) It was near the station. I mean for a person travelling by train from a place like kalyan, the most essential thing according to me is the distance of the college from the station.

The number one factor to choose this college was because it aims on holistic development of students and also the distance from where I live to college is quite near. The teaching faculty is quite helpful and patient and they always encourage new and innovative ideas. We are also assigned mentors which is quite helpful. The students here are approachable and not conceited. Another factor was the fest which are organized and they give a fair chance to anyone who's willing to take responsibility and learn to become heads. Our college also has the student council which helps out in all the college activities both extra curricular and co curricular.

It has great management and teaches experiential learning better than other MU colleges, good teaching faculty, amazing labs, good examination structure. Has a good play ground, extra curricular activities are amazing. great library

The factors include the distance of the college from my house, a good campus and I knew quite a few people who graduated from here. In case of why I opted for computer science / engineering is I always had a liking towards this field, peer pressure didn't affect this decision as none of my friends have joined a similar course.
