Remarks

It has great management and teaches experiential learning better than other MU colleges, good teaching faculty, amazing labs, good examination structure. Has a good play ground, extra curricular activities are amazing. great library

They are according to MU. few extra add on are by the college to make sure we keep gaining industrial skills. also there are seminars and talks hosted time to time and workshops for all the students for free so that we are intact with the current knowledge

There is a good placement rate in our college. we have a lot of company Collaboration with us. also we have drills and session conducted to brush our skills while going for placements. we have TPO team who helps student to coordinate with the students for getting into company

College Events

There are lot of cultural activities which keep on happening, also there are student chapters who keep on bringing all these interesting things. The technical festivals are amazing and everyone has something to contribute to it for sure.

Campus Life

A big play ground for football, basketball court, a giant library, e-library, classroom with smart board, good equipment lab, internet and Moodle acess for studies. the canteen is very big like a open air dine restaurant. and the food quality is excellent.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. DBIT MUMBAI : where learning meets vibrant campus life .

i didnt applied to other colleges because my sister used to study in DBIT so i was sure the college will be good . while i also thought i was elegible for the college so i preferred DBIT for its approachable faculty and industry connections. the adimission process at DBIT involves eligibility based on 12th- grade marks and MHT-CET schores with atypical cutoff arounf 85-90 percentile for IT. the process is smooth, with a centralized counseling ensuring transpency. rejections elsewhere were due to higher cutoffs but DBIT has proven to be a great choice overall....Read More
