Remarks
The number one factor to choose this college was because it aims on holistic development of students and also the distance from where I live to college is quite near. The teaching faculty is quite helpful and patient and they always encourage new and innovative ideas. We are also assigned mentors which is quite helpful. The students here are approachable and not conceited. Another factor was the fest which are organized and they give a fair chance to anyone who's willing to take responsibility and learn to become heads. Our college also has the student council which helps out in all the college activities both extra curricular and co curricular.
Course Curriculum Overview
In my opinion we did not have much of the industrial exposure. Due to some reason or the other our industrial visits were always terminated. Our faculty is good. Sejal Chopra ma'am and Imran Mirza Sir are amazing. They really make you understand your concepts
Placement Experience
We have LNT, AWS, Accenture, JP Morgan and many other companies coming in. Usually interviews are first taken when your in your seventh semester and it's taken in rounds. First round usually being the group discussion round. Mostly the results are announced in a week or two. One of our students was offered a starting package of 11 lakhs. Our alumni networking is handled by the alumni secretaries from student council and they try to engage as many alumni for events and talks about future career prospects.
College Events
Our campus has a lot of events the biggest one being hysteria. Hysteria is cultural fest which includes not only the engineering college but the whole DBCL which includes hotel management, BMS, BMM, ITA. This event gives all the students an exposure and helps them to network. Then we have Colosseum which is a technical fest which also has fun events and workshops. We have teknack which is a game development event in which our college students develope games and publish it on Google play store. We also have our department days where each every department has 100% participation and the management is done by student council members. We also have alumni meets wherein we get a chance to communicate with our alumni which is the responsibility of the alumni secretaries in the student council.
Campus Life
Our campus infrastructure falls under modern school type. We have a huge football field. A basketball court, volleyball court, hand volley area and a box cricket area. Our library has adequate books and a good return time facility that is two weeks. We have many labs few can accommodate only 20 students at a time and few can accommodate the whole class that is around 70-75 students. Our lab computers are moody sometimes they work wonders sometimes we need to find a new one. Wi-Fi in our campus is only allowed if you register your laptop and in few labs we have access to internet.
