BHMS college satara - expectations vs reality

Exam difficulty level is moderate to hard only 60 to 65 percent sfudents clear exam each year.The improvements in teaching methid should be the faculties are well qualified but they lack to convey there knowledge to studnets because there approach is more theory oriented instead they should teach students with practical case stdudies of opd or admitted patients, also in comparison of syllabus number of faculties are less. Attitude of some teachers is bit arrogant they.

Internship opportunities are therebjt provided in last year of college also if you manged to clear 4th gear then and only then yoh wi get opportunity for internship. 3 moths internship is compulsory at college hospital for other 9 months other hospitals in satara get alloted.

Total fees are 88000rs per year excluding mess fees and hostel fees, in which 40000 rs get paid back to college through Maharashtra goverment through mahadbt scheme, and there is examination fee of 4500 rs which gets increaedd as grade increases and one mlre thing there was additional other fees of 15000 rs in first year.

College infrastructure is ok ok as college is 35 years old also college as not its play ground so sport activites are held in chatrapti shahu stadium satara. Coming to library number of books available arr less only 4 to 5 books per autbor are available also number of sets limited overall library facilieties are poor

Hostel facilities are very poor but they charge 34000rs annually for example hot water supply for bathing comes for 1 hour only and warden at my time was rude, menu is pre decided and there is no hygiene at all as compared to money they provide nothing

Basically my neet score didint permitted me to get admission in other colleges (bams and mbbs) apart from this sawkar college of homeopathy satara, in other homeopathy colleges i was getting admitted but this college was near to my hometown so my parents decided to choose thus college.

Annual exam pattern, onece in year in summer or winter depending upon admission batch , held by muhs nashik, internal exams are also there but internal exams marks are not get counted in final exam, 4 unit tets, 1 terminal and one preliminary exam conducted in one acdemic year

No there was no group discussion or interview was there for getting adminission into college but at time of college visit during cap rounds some college faculties give information about college and curriculum

As this college belongs to midc area so there is no eye catching destinations or spots to enjoy here in day as well as night, they mentioned that college gym is there in admission form but no gym in college but gym fees are taken, there is no cafeteria also.
