The most amazing campus out of all the engineering colleges of Mumbai is ours.
Faculties here treats us like friends and therefore onr can't complaint about it.
Canteen is one but is quite amazing as from Vada Paav to Paav Bhaji, we have it all here.

Dislikes

Girls are very few here as just 12 girls in a class of 70+ students.

Admission:

MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Yes, in that cut-off, getting admission is tough but cometh the hour, cometh the man is what DBIT believe in. Just 20% seats for minorities and thats a good thing as one gets fair chance for admission here.

Infrastructures were always made available to students with good internet connectivity.
Faculty were supportive in regards ro any tecjnical academic issues.
I personally liked the extracurricular activities like football and different competitions

Dislikes

Students didn't seem to fear the faculty
Attendance was an issue as students take the lectures for granted
I do dislike the events that are compressed in a tight schedule or canceled by giving reasons of tight schedule

Admission:

Well I do personally prefer my college because of having a catholic background. I applied to this institute solely for that reason and didn't think of applying elsewhere. Luckily I got the admission too.

My cousin went to this college and it had a good reputation. Thus I opted for this institute. I was comfortable with this environment as it is a Christian College and religiously it felt calming to enrol here.

exceptional sports facilities .he sports culture in DBIT is phenomenal , with a dedicating ground for various activities.
supportive faculty .the professors are experienced and approachable , providing strong mentorship.
Great college life . DBIT has lively environment where students can participate in numerous festivals, technical events, and culture programs like "colosseum" and "hysteria"

Dislikes

Limited girls boys ratio . The college has a disproportional girls to boys ratio , approximately 30:70 which affects the density in group activities and healthy discussions.
placement opportunities . while placements are improving , the opportunities for core IT roles could be expanded . some companies offers non- technical roles that don't align with students interests.
lack of hostel facilities. DBIT does not have on campus hostels, which can be challenge for outstation students. they have to look for private accommodation nearby, which adds to the overall cost.

Admission:

i didnt applied to other colleges because my sister used to study in DBIT so i was sure the college will be good . while i also thought i was elegible for the college so i preferred DBIT for its approachable faculty and industry connections. the adimission process at DBIT involves eligibility based on 12th- grade marks and MHT-CET schores with atypical cutoff arounf 85-90 percentile for IT. the process is smooth, with a centralized counseling ensuring transpency. rejections elsewhere were due to higher cutoffs but DBIT has proven to be a great choice overall.

Firstly I liked the campus it has big football ground to play sports and chill
The college provides decent placement opportunities for an aspiring engineering student
The environment in college is really good favourable for studies

The college have provided more internship opportunities but never mind

So my first choice was going to Pune. But unfortunately I didn't score that well in my CET as it got affected due to COVID phase. So upon the score I got in cet, I had options of going to Xavier's, DBIT, Atharva college of engineering and other low tier colleges . But on going through their placment records, I found out that DBIT had the most no of placed students with highest package of about 25 LPA . So upon comparing these factors , I decided to opt for DBIT

The canteen was good but the food was not that nice.
Very bad about donations was very greedy for that.

Admission:

I chose this college because it is one of the best colleges in Mumbai and as I am a middle class student the course fees was very less as compared to other colleges that was the main thing I liked the most.
