Remarks

The factors include the distance of the college from my house, a good campus and I knew quite a few people who graduated from here. In case of why I opted for computer science / engineering is I always had a liking towards this field, peer pressure didn't affect this decision as none of my friends have joined a similar course.

The course is good, at times you may find it outdated especially In the start however the faculty try their level best for improving the quality of education. Tons of extra curricular activities and projects getting out the best in you

A lot of companies do come to the college for recruitments. Tcs is one of them infact tcs works closely with the college to help student's be more industry ready. Alumini netowork is the best. college has alumni whose studying in a ivy league college one of the alumini works for erpnext (foss)

College Events

Colloseum is a technical fest held by the college a lot of speakers and events take place, since it's a engineering college the tech fest does have a lot of participants about me participanting in then heck yes that's the best part of beign in this college.

Campus Life

Libraries and labs I won't say it's the best out there but surely not the worst. wifi is provided but it's slow however there is a lan for projects which has amazing speed. There library has all the books that teachers refer to for academics, so in those terms it's pretty good. Sports is a major part of this institute. It has one of the best football teams. Anyone can take part in sports and there are multiple sports events held. The football field and basketball ground are very good the cricket place isn't the best but it's not bad place for vollleyball and batmion is also present

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

For campus placement students from 3rd year for my course are eligible. Highest package for my course is 3 LPA. Companies like oberois , hyatt etc . If I'll get better placements then I'll go for it otherwise I'll do masters.

Placement cell is quite good. Students are eligible for placement in their last semester of course. There are many great companies that come like JP MORGAN, EY, KPMG. Average package of the college is 5-6 lacs but there are high packages according to the skills of the student. I'd like to go for master's after BMS. Different kind of roles are there for students to apply according to their interests in all the fields like finance, marketing, HR, consulting. There is training provided by the college for placemens and there is personal training for individual company interviews if required by students.

Placement Experience:

Tata Group, Reliance Group, Aditya Birla Group and some other niche names from corporate are the ones who come for placements at law college. Since every year 300 students pass out and 150-175 of them get jobs from the college placement and the average salary offered is around 6-7 lakhs. Highest though last year was of 20LPA.

I got into DBIT post completion of my diploma so it was a DSE or Direct second year engineering entry students , I got EXTC engineering in the second CAP round . The college offers Engineering in 4 Branches namely Computer Engineering , IT , EXTC, and Mechanical and students can get admission through either by doing 12th or after diploma . For students who have did 12th the college accepts admission through MHTCET and JEE the cutoff are usually high above 90+ percentile for Computer and IT branch while slightly low 80%+ for EXTC and Mechanical branch. The college has a overall seats of 120 seats in computer engineering Dept 60 of which are reserved for Christian Students. MH-Cet percentile of 97 is required as even though it was lockdown when i took admission the cut-off was still that. Yes, in that cut-off, getting admission is tough but cometh the hour, cometh the man is what DBIT believe in. DBIT MUMBAI : where learning meets vibrant campus life .

i didnt applied to other colleges because my sister used to study in DBIT so i was sure the college will be good . while i also thought i was elegible for the college so i preferred DBIT for its approachable faculty and industry connections. the adimission process at DBIT involves eligibility based on 12th- grade marks and MHT-CET schores with atypical cutoff arounf 85-90 percentile for IT. the process is smooth, with a centralized counseling ensuring transpency. rejections elsewhere were due to higher cutoffs but DBIT has proven to be a great choice overall....Read More
