CIPET Lucknow M.Tech Plastic Engineering / Technology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants to M.E or M.Tech courses must have either of the two to be eligible:
  • B.E. / B.Tech., Engg. (4 years) in Mechanical / Chemical / Production / Polymer / Plastics Engineering / Technology OR
  • M.Sc. in Polymer Science / Chemistry with polymer specialization.
• The Candidate should be at least 16 years old. 

Selection Criteria

• Candidates are selected for M.Tech courses on the basis of the UPSEE scores. 
• However, a valid GATE or GPAT score can substitute this. 
• Preference is given to applicants with a GATE score. 
• Candidates with a valid GATE score do not require to take any other entrance exam on the state level and can directly apply for counselling. 
• For M. Tech admissions, 70% weightage is given to GATE score and 30% to candidates’ performance in the interview for selection.

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.
