CIPET center of Amritsar was established in 1989 by Government of India for providing Training and Technical Services to plastics and allied industries in the Northern region of the country. The institute consists full-fledged facilities for Mold/Die Design and Development, Plastics Processing, Testing and Quality Control of Plastics material and products. The institute has developed adequate expertise in fabrication of precision modules, dies and development of standard mold bases. The Plastics Testing Centre (PTC) of institute is well equipped with sophisticated equipment for conducting raw material and product testing. It has been recognized by BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) & NABL to undertake testing and quality assurance assignment as per national and International Standards.

The eligibility for getting admission to CIPET is to appear and qualify for CIPET JEE, I appeared in CIPET JEE 2017 and that time I found this application form and details through a blog the application fee was 500 approx that time and the application form started from 15 May to 15 July in every year, One more important thing that if you are eligible for any kind of reservation than you avail it in admission, Let me share an example one of my friends belongs from OBC cast reservation, He applied for that and grab it. Also CIPET provides placements in diffrent diffrent MNC and National Companies.
