Kalicharan Nigam Institute of Technology was established in the year 2002 under the sponsorship of Banda Education Center with stress on providing excellent technical education to engineering students. College is running with the affiliation of Uttar Pradesh Technical University and with approval of AICTE, New Delhi. It is recognized by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

- Library: College has centrally air conditioned library equipped with 20000 books on various disciplines of engineering that can cater the requirement of students. Library also subscribes international and national journals for updating the technical knowledge of students and faculties. Library has a spacious reading room with a capacity of 500 users. Library is also a member of DELNET through which students can access various e-books and e-journals.
- Hostels: College complex provides accommodation facilities to both boys and girls separately. Hostels rooms are provided on single and twin sharing basis.
- Computer Center: College has state of art air conditioned computer center with 500 computers and / Compaq/wipro/IBM/ servers connected in LAN with internet facilities.

There are The eligibility criteria that you should have more than 60 percent or equal to 60 percent in class 10 and class 12. Reservation benefit is available for SC and ST and OBC. The admission cell asks you some questions about life and your goals.

eligibility criteria of admission in the knit college are 50 percent in class 12 on the board exam. the application form n the college website is then you have to go to campus for document work.

The admission is based on your entrance exam. You need to fill the online for the examination. The form fees is 500rs. You can find the form date in the website. You need to pass your 10th atleast to fill the form and sit the entrance hall. The admission form should be available offline also so that nearby people can get the form easily.

I got direct admission because I haven't given UPSEE. You can easily get admission to this college via direct admission quota or by counseling. If you scored fewer marks in UPSEE, don't worry it is for you. No minimum age you have to pass any diploma course in engineering or the 12th exam from any board and you must have 60% in PCM. You can choose this college in upsee counseling or you can visit the college with required documents to get admission or you can simply call KCNIT, Banda to get updated information.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Electric electronics engineering is the best in this college all branches education system is good Practicals as well as theory class is good assignments given on daily basis so that our lesson is to be strong Overall everything is good. Nothing is bad

The college was near to home, also it had a history of good campus placements. The college has pretty good infrastructure. The collaboration with IT companies was also good which provided me opportunity to intern under HCL and visit Singapore in my final college years being sponsored by HCL.

My experience was totally good so I don't think there is a negative remarks about my college and the positive remarks are explained in section. The best part of this college that they have a good at environment for students and faculty members and have a large building blocks for classrooms

The college is surely on a progressive track and is including more and more facilities for the students and staff. It even encouraged students to opt for add-on courses which might be helpful in times to come. The auditorium though needs to be renovated.

The Course structure was as it was specified by UPTU at that time. Mostly We had to relay on internet to get the Course activities. The Issues was normally been taking as self study and it was for all the batch with no much support from the College authority.
