CIPET Review

CIPET is very popular for its 'plastic engineering" program and there are very few or almost very fewer colleges that provide plastic engineering in India. I choose the CIPET M.Tech program in Plastic Engineering Technology because it has very much scope and with less competition around. To take admission in the college I have to fill out the admission form from the college's official website so I filled out the admission form after clearing the GATE exam. The admission process was good and smooth.

The curriculum of the college is very good and interactive. It properly gives us an understanding of plastic manufacturing and the consumption and the impact of plastic in today's scenario. The college faculty ratio is very good and the faculty are also very experienced and highly qualified. The curriculum provides us with full information on plastic management and consumption.

The internship is optional the only drawback is that internship is not provided from the college side we have to look for our own internship option probably that is why the internship is optional. If we have opted for an internship we also have to submit the written assignments on the learning and experience of internships.

The college placement is good. The college placement committee is very helpful and we can take the list of companies available for recruitment on the campus. The college placement committee helps us and fully guides us during each placement round. The highest package for our batch was around 16 LPA and the average salary package is around 7.50 LPA. IOCL, Honeywell, Supreme, Nilkamal, BATA, Mirza are the companies that visit the college for the campus placement drive.

The complete course fee of the program is approx Rs. 50000/- which is quite affordable. As per the fee, the return on investment is good. There is no scholarship option available in the college.

CAPORA is the annual sports event of the college and ANANT is the cultural event of the college. The seniors and the administrative staff are very cooperative. The college infrastructure is very well maintained. The library has enough books related to our course and non-academic books. The classrooms are very well maintained and properly ventilated.

The hostel is good and the rooms are well maintained. The hostel wardens and the staff is very cooperative and they fully work hard to maintain the decorum of the hostel. The hostel rooms and bathrooms are very well cleaned. The food is good and cooked in the hygenic space. The hostel provides us with 24 hours of water and power supply. The rooms are equipped with beds, study tables and almirahs. The hostel is equipped with all types of facilities as per our needs and comforts.

The faculty is good. The college does not compromise the quality of the faculty. The faculty is of PhD level and has good industrial exposure which is beneficial to us.
