Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Hajipur is Govt. College which was established in the year 1994 to cater to the needs of Plastics Industries in Bihar & other adjacent regions. The college is situated in the sacred land of Vaishali, Bihar. The facilities of the college have been modernized through World Bank/ OIDB assistance. The college is well equipped with the latest audiovisual facilities and computers with advanced CAD software. The testing laboratory is accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

CIPET: CSTS - Hajipur was established in the year 1994 to cater the needs of Plastics Industries in Bihar & other adjoining areas. The institute offers various Diploma and PG Diploma courses.

Under college Technical Support Service (TSS) is available which renders quality services to its customers in Tooling, Precision Machining on CNC machines, Design, and Manufacturing of Molds for Plastic and allied products, Plastics product manufacturing through state of art Injection Molding Machines, Blow Molding and Rotational Molding etc.

M.Tech (CAD/ CAM)	2 Years	B.Tech in in Mechanical / Automobile / Manufacturing / Production / Industrial / Mechatronics / Marine / Aeronautical Engineering
M.Sc. Tech. (Material Science & Engineering)	5 Years	12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths
M.Sc. (Bio-Polymer Science)	2 Years	Candidates with B.Sc. Degree in any branch with Chemistry as one of the subjects can apply. Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50% marks in the main and subsidiary subjects taken together.
M.Sc. (Polymer Science)	2 Years	B.Sc. (Science) degree with chemistry/industrial chemistry/polymer science/applied chemistry/industrial polymer chemistry/chemistry as one of the major subject.
M.Sc. (Engg.) by Research in the Faculty of Engineering	-	B.E/B.Tech from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.
Diploma in Plastic Technology	3 Years	10^th passed with Maths, Science and English as subjects.
Diploma in Plastic Mould Technology	3 Years	10^th passed with Maths, Science and English as subjects.
Post Diploma in Plastic Mould Design with CAD/CAM	1.5 Years	3 year Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics Technology, Tool/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Tool & Die Making, DPMT/DPT (CIPET) or equivalent.
Postgraduate Diploma in Plastic Processing & Testing	1.5 Years	3 year Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects.

CIPET Hajipur has research level PhD courses are also available in many specializations such as Chemical Modification of Polymers, Natural Fibre reinforced polymer composites, Polymer Blends, alloys and composites, Bionanocomposites, Fuel Cells & Energy storage devices, Carbon Nanotubes, E-Waste Recycling, Reverse Engineering Applications, New Product Development and many more. I like the experienced faculty and the high tech lab and practical classes machines.
Machines are highly developed for practical classes.

Dislikes

There should be maintaince for the hostel.

For the admission cipet conducts a addimission test of 100 marks those students who crack the exam they can get addimission and the procesd is so simple just you have to fill a form on the official website of cipet. It comes very year on the month of june and last for july. I applied for various engineering college but this course attracted me more.

Admission:

I chose this college over the other colleges because I have very good knowledge & hands-on experience with plastic mould. In another polytechnic college, they are given only paper knowledge. Experience of working with hand in the admission process of my college degree is very easy. Go to the college and talk to the admissions in charge they guide you very well.

The course structure is divided into semester systems which also includes internal exams, assignments, and practicals. The course curriculum hasn? been updated for a long time which makes learning more difficult.
