Annual function is very nice udaan is our annual function... technical event is good in our college... library is very big all books are available... classroom is very clean and there is smart board in our classroom
They know their stuff and are great at teaching abilities and very helpful for students.
My college's placement satisfactory and average placement pakage is about 300000 so students are good many companies are coming like birla, tata motors, tata consultancy services, l&t and more so this is best for civil engineering and mechanical engineering.

Dislikes

The hostel is not good in this hostel i was not getting satisfaction from hostel
I have opted for electronic engineering, the curriculum is very worst and outdated.
The lab are not good some machine lab are under renovation from the i had started the college.

Course curriculum is very nice. It covered all topic which is important for students. Teaching method for this couse is very good. 2 hrs and 30 minute exam time. It is medium level of paper they prepare.

BVM's goods and bads (unfiltered)

Likes

the culture here is quite extraordinary and compared to other colleges its quite rich.
the faculties are very supportive and are helpful
students are friendly enough to make the social life of college good.

Dislikes

the infrastructure is lacking and is dated but improvements are in action.
the faculties are not using there potential and 6 out of 10 faculties are unable to connect with students.
the scheduling of lectures and exams are poorly done and a constant pressure is held on students, the system of 2 mid sems is quite hectic as every month has a examination

Placement Experience:

From the start of 7th sem a student is eligible for placements. Infochip, matcart, mg motors are a few of the companies which visited as of offers im not that informed as im not seeking for a placement. average package is around 3lpa to 3.5 lpa. around 30% students get placement. i am seeking for further education and a placement is not my requirement as of now.

Likes

Academic environment is good, people are disciplined
Professors are sincere towards their teaching

Dislikes

Placements are not up to the mark. It's more hilarious for non software branches
Curriculum is outdated, should add industry demanding cources

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is good. Most of the students get 4LPA package. In the class of 75 students, around 30 gets on campus placements. I took place into a semiconductor firm. Other non placed students either option for higher studies, business or government job.

Details about BVM

Likes

Well known for the colleges located there for many girls and so called the educational capital for professional courses
Some foreigner students as well. The Professors are highly professional and really enthusiastic about teaching

Dislikes

Well everyone not likes to stay away from home but staying there is not that hard because you find new friends.
In Summer there is a lot of heat not likely to stay.
The hostel food's taste gets worse as the days pass.

Placement Experience:

Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya provides good placement opportunities and if a student is interested and capable then he or she will definitely get it. The students are eligible for placements in fourth year.

Library, canteen, hostel very good and facilities are also good

not much dislike but only campus is small

Placements are very good and eligibility is 6.5 CPI for students and almost all students get placed in companies with an average package of 3-4 LPA and the highest 7 LPA of MG motors, and many more like einfochips, matrix, scaledge, tcs, Adani, reliance, honda, etc. many more.

A Review for Future growth for students

Likes

Faculty is very helpful and libraries and other events are very insightful
Engaging in extra curriculum activities likes sports clubs, expert lectures, hackathon
Well equipped labs and instruments and research facilities

Dislikes

Limited parking spaces but its good for overall college also
Delay in registration office sometimes and delaying in id cards

Placement Experience:

Placements are so good, students need to secure average 6.5 cpi and after 6th sem companies hire for internship starts from 8th sem and then full time. Companies offer wide range of packages to 3 lpa to even 9 lpa. But sometimes companies requirement are less so they do not hire much students.

A rich bond between teachers and students and the professor are very coordinating.
The college has a rich alumni network and organize various extra curricular activities.

Dislikes

The college campus has not have its own playground.
The placement scenario can be improved a bit.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent enough and their is a decent ROI for the GIA branch students.Most placements are in technical companies. Almost 40 companies each year arrives for the technical and non technical placement. approximately 60% students got placement on campus who have applied for the same. Average package is 5-6 lakhs /annum and highest of this year (2024) is 54 lakhs(off campus).

75 years of BIRLA VISHVAKARMA MAHAVIDYALAYA IN A GIST.

Likes

A rich alumni network and a lot of extra curricular,a lot means a lott
Fully furnished hostel accommodation and clean environment is provided.
Funding for startups and alumni connections are readily encouraged and professors are very co-ordinating.

Dislikes

Small (30 acres) campus area is given .We have to go to the public ground for playing anything.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem student become eligible for exams and approximately 50-60 companies come for mainly technical job roles.Average package is around 5-6 lakhs/yr but has a good ROI for GIA branch students as their tuition fees is around 41 thousand for four years. 60-70% placement is their.My plan is to move abroad as here moving abroad culture is too. Highest on campus placement is i think 12 lpa but off campus highest is 54 lakhs and many on 12,16,18 lakhs/ annum.

Likes

Placement are best over the other colleges in gujarat.
Professor teaching methods are best on my side.
The campus environment are best like old vibe building.

Dislikes

Attendance are compulsory is 75 percentage.
Other department are lab are ok-ok bit the el department are best labs.
For my side the syllabi are best but don't deeply study.

Placement Experience:

The 7th semester is getting the placement criteria. The company visit in my college is like l&t wipro eInfochips etc. the most 70 % of students are getting a job on campus. The highest package is 10lpa and the minimum package is 5lpa per year.

Best college of my life

Likes

Syllabus are really good and faculty are best.
The overall labs are best for my department labs are best.

Dislikes

Attendance are mandatory is 75 percentage compulsory.
Infrastructure are too old for college and other departments are not good.
10 percentage faculty ate not good and not studying perfectly.

Placement Experience:

The 7th semester is eligible for placement criteria. The company visit for my campus like tcs, wipro, metadata, etc. In the year 2021-22 around 200 students are offering for jobs. The highest package is 10lpa and the average package is 3.5lpa. The 50% ratio of students are offering campus placement.
