Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM Gujarat) is a premier Engineering college affiliated to Gujarat Technological University. It provides B.Tech and M.Tech programs in disciplines such as CSE, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, and others.

Admissions are conducted based on the performance in the relevant entrance examination at BVM Gujarat. UG students have to qualify GUJCET/JEE Main entrance exam for B.Tech admission. The GUJCET Round 1 cutoff rank for 2024 B.Tech ranges from 1974 - 24420 in the General Category (All India). Similarly, M.Tech applicants must have a valid GATE/PGCET score, followed by seat allotment through the counseling round. BVM JEE Main Cutoff 2025 has been released. For B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering in 2025, the Home State closing rank in Round 1 is 1,974, and the All India closing rank is 11.

BVM Gujarat Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Candidates must have passed the 10 + 2 Level Examination with at least 45% Marks from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (Compulsory Subjects)
For the Reserved Category candidates, a minimum of 40% is required in the 10+2 level examination for B.Tech admission.
Students from the Gujarat Secondary Education Board are given first preference.

BVM Gujarat M.Tech Admission 2025

BVM Gujarat provides M.Tech admission at the postgraduate level in branches like Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Civil Engineering has specializations like Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, Structural Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Automation & Robotics, and Transportation Engineering, with a total of 108 seats. The M.Tech program has a total of 150 seats intake capacity. The admission procedure, eligibility, and selection criteria are explained below.

Applicants must have a B.Tech/B.E. degree from a recognized university with at least 45% Marks in aggregate
Selections are based on GATE/PGCET scores, followed by seat allocation through state-level counseling.

i applied for this college in my first priority. because bvm is one of the oldest college in gujrat and known for its core value. bvm produce globally employable , innovative engineer with core value. admission done via acpc rounds and only withh acpc ranking.

i have applied for other colleges like nirma, ld, ddu etc. in there i did not got admission. and i got in vgec but i like bvm more than that. in colleges i did not got admission i am rejected because of my rank which bit low. admission process is easy you have to apply in acpc and then you have to visit college to pay fees and cofirm admission

In 2019, I applied 120 college and My first preferance was BVM college, Because My one friend study oveerthere. I got BVM college in first round. Admission Process: 1.collect your all document and make file so when you ask about any document so you can easily give them. 2.Imporat documents are 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate , leaving certificate , cast certificate, income certificate , gujcet score certificate, jee mains certificate(if you have). 3.fill form giving by college and attached all document ask as per form. 4.submit form and then payment fees. 5.If you live in college hostel then you fill other form for hostel and payment fees. 6.conform your admission.

Life at BVM

Admission:

I also applied for LD College, Ahmedabad. I got admission in Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya, Vallabh Vidhyanagar. I choose this college because it has autonomous and has Grant in aid. So not have to pay fees. I realise that BVM is good rather than LD college so I choose. Admission process is normal like other, registration, fee payment, etc.
