75 years of BIRLA VISHVAKARMA MAHAVIDYALAYA IN A GIST.

The course is fine and is according to the market trends. Our college recently become autonomous thus has revised the syllabus in a new manner matching with the syllabus of IITB. Proper lab experience and tutorial lectures are given each and every week. Some professors are boring otherwise more than 90% the are from IIT's so no such issue in language or teaching. The exams and events are held on proper time.

Our college has tie up with various foreign universities,ISRO ,IITGN and various companies at GIDC area of Gujarat for the internship opportunities. College itself assist in providing the internship as it has a large alumni network being the oldest engineering College of Gujarat.

From 7th sem student become eligible for exams and approximately 50-60 companies come for mainly technical job roles.Average package is around 5-6 lakhs/yr but has a good ROI for GIA branch students as their tuition fees is around 41 thousand for four years. 60-70% placement is their.My plan is to move abroad as here moving abroad culture is too. Highest on campus placement is i think 12 lpa but off campus highest is 54 lakhs and many on 12,16,18 lakhs/ annum.

Tution fee for GIA(Government in aid) is bare minimum of some 5-6 thousand per semester but in SFI(self finance) the fees is 67 thousand per semester. There is no tution fees for female students. Complete cost will be approx 5-6 lakhs for (GIA branches like CS, ELECTRONICS, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL,CIVIL) and 9-10 lakh(SRI branches and seats like IT,ECEand MECHANICAL). A lot of scholarships are provided depends upon the terms and conditions and financial status like MYSY etc. The major pros is that here a lot of extra curricular actiyare there like some webinars,guest lectures,events , industrial visits are frequently going on in the campus. The con is that it's campus area is only of around 30 acres thus not having its personal playground.

Annual fest UDAAN and a lot of technical and training and placement cell events are there.Robocon, Robofest, Best in class startup funding provided for the appropriate POC. A lot of societies and clubs are there like GDSC,IEEE, GFG, NCC, NSS,TSA,AI-ML,SSIPetc. The classrooms and laboratory have all the required modern teaching methods and computers and kits to give the proper exposure.

There are two hostel for boys and 2 for girls. Meal quality is moderate and the fees is 85000 thousand per year in AM NAIK HOSTEL and 30000/yr in the Govt hostel of our college.I Don't know about the girls hostel fees. Pg and rented rooms are available anytime as the college is situated in the student hub of Gujarat.

Eligibility of the course is minimum 60% marks in 12th standard with PCM and must have a valid GUJCET score card of the same year. Application form is of 300rs. and can be find from ACPC website further the counselling and seat allocation is done on the basis of class 12th cgpa and GUJCET marks on ACPC portal. Their are total 3 exams/ semester i.e mid 1 and mid 2 and the end semester exam. To appear in end semester exam student have to secure atleast 30% marks aggregate in mid 1and 2 combined. The difficulty level is moderate. Admission process is smooth and uptodate, the student must have to fill their choice in the correct manner.
