Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM Gujarat), established in 1948, is a grant-aided, autonomous Engineering college. It is a NAAC-accredited college with AICTE approval. With B.Tech as the flagship program, BVM Gujarat provides M.Tech and Ph.D programs across various specializations as well.

Admission to BVM Gujarat is based on the performance in state & all-India entrance examinations for their UG & PG programs. For B.Tech programs, admissions are accepted based on the GUJCET/JEE Main Score, followed by seat allotment through a counseling round. The average fee of the 4-year B.Tech program is INR 5.72 Lakhs. Companies recruiting from the campus, highest and average package being offered

After the completion of 5th SEM, students are eligible for placement. Last year the average package was Rs.5.5-6 lakh per annum and highest package was 15 LPA. Companies like airtel, vi, L&T, MG motors etc visited last year. Total 325 students placed in the placement session of 2023-24.

Internship opportunity in various organization

Companies like reliance jio, global infotech, Jkb software etc gives the internship with an stipend of average Rs.25000-30000 per month. If the performance is good during the internship period then some companies direct hire the candidate. These institution also allow the bright students for an external internship for the period of 6months.

Events organized, clubs and facilities available in the campus

The campus life is not that much good. It is just an average. There are certain annual and technical fest held by the institution such as yugantra,udaan etc. There are large variety of books available in library from small novel to large textbook. The sports and extracurricular activities are less offered on campus. There are many social groups and clubs which helps students to know about themselves and helps them to communicate in front of others and putting their ideas.

Total fees of the course and merit based scholarship available in the campus

Total annual fees is Rs.1,43,000 which exclude exam fees. So annual fees reach up to Rs.1,50,000.You can also apply for various scholarships based on merit. The fees will be same for all category students. The tuition fees for government section is Rs.1500 for boys and Rs.0 for girls student.

Students view on course curriculum

As we are rapidly moving towards the technology revolution, Computer engineering is one of the important branch who are participating in this. It is of 4 years course in which all the things are clear. Yes, the curriculum is little outdated but if it can be improve it gives us a great outcomes which helps in real world. Every 2 months there is an exam conducted by the college and there is not that much load on our studies.

Facilities provided in the college hostel

In hostel room, there is a bed, study table, attached washroom. Hostel rooms are clean and well maintained. The meal quality is good and everyday it consist of pulses, vegetables ,roti and rice. Hostels are not that much costly it can be affordable.

Students view on faculties and examination

The faculty to student ratio is some what about 1:50.All faculties are cooperative and they help us regarding our studies or exams. There are 2 mid SEM examination and 1 end SEM examination in each semester. It is not much difficult to clear the exams. All students clear the exams except there can be 4-5 students who fail in those examination.

Admission Process of the college

I had applied for several other colleges but their merit is so high, due to which I couldn't make it their. But this college is also among the top 10 engineering colleges of Gujarat. The placement rate is also good in this college. The admission process of this college is simple which is either through ACPC counselling which is conducted by Gujarat government or by management quota based on GUJCET marks or by NRI quota.

Night Life

Nightlife around college campus is average. There are certain food shops near the campus. There is not such a famous hangout place near the college except one big playground which we called shastri maidan. So basically there is not many hangout place but yes it is safe to roam around at night. The hostel timing is only up to 11p.m.

In 2019, I applied 120 college and My first preferance was BVM college, Because My one friend study oveerthere. I got BVM college in first round. Admission Process: 1.collect your all document and make file so when you ask about any document so you can easily give them. 2.Imporat documents are 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate , leaving certificate , cast certificate, income certificate , gujcet score certificate, jee mains certificate(if you have). 3.fill form giving by college and attached all document ask as per form. 4.submit form and then payment fees. 5.If you live in college hostel then you fill other form for hostel and payment fees. 6.conform your admission.

Choosing a college is a significant step, and for me,BBIT Anand became the final destination after a throgh evalution of my options. MY decisions to choose BBIT stemmed from a combination of factors, primarily its reputation in Gujarat, its strong focus on practical learning, and its relatively affordale fee structure compared to some other institute. I was primarily interested a degree Computer Engineering and BBIT seemed to offer a well-structured program in that discipline.

Candidates should have passed 10+2 (Science Stream) with minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) in three subjects viz two compulsory subjects i.e. Physics and Mathematics and any one of optional subjects i.e. (Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects prescribed by respective boards) from single board and should have appeared in GUJCET to become eligible for the admission. Candidates are allotted seats based on GUJCET.
