- The computer department is recently renovated and it have new labs with very good facilities and new computers.
- Faculties of computer department are highly experienced some of them are serving here from more than 30 years.
- Lecture and lab structure is good, we can get time for extra co-curricular activies.
Dislikes
- The syllabus is not very industry friendly.
- We are not getting more practical knowledge.
- Exams are bit difficult and it takes more time to prepare.
Course Curriculum Overview
curriculum is average because it has some interesting and real world courses and also has some outdated syllabus and subject which are not that much industry related. we have three exams per semester two internals and one external.
Placement Experience
from semester 7 students are eligible for campus placements there multiple companies visit the bvm campus like tcs, infosys, honda, torrent and more highest packag vary year by year in previous year in compuer around 9 lpa and in mechanical around 9 lpa 70-80% students get placed i am planning to get placed in good company
Fees and Financial Aid
I am paying year-wise fees around 8000-9000 (because we are paying semester wise fess generally in odd semester fee is around 5500 and in even semester 2500) and this is the fees as i am in grant in aid seat. and from 2024-25 year onwards computer department add sfi seats also which have fees around 1,25,000-1,50,000. There are multiple scholarship options are available and most popular are mysy and digital gujarat.
Campus Life
we have one annual event named udaan in which we have cultural night, concert night typically in march-april month. also there is an event which held in november-december named genesis also we have good support for sports
Hostel Facilities
i am staying in hostel without mess, room quality are pretty decent all the rooms are 3 person when we come to register for college we have to register for hostel also with that if anyone want to stay in rented room or pg there are multiple options available
Admission
i have applied for other colleges like nirma, ld, ddu etc. in there i did not got admission. and i got in vgec but i like bvm more than that. in colleges i did not got admission i am rejected because of my rank which bit low. admission process is easy you have to apply in acpc and then you have to visit college to pay fees and cofirm admission
Faculty
there around 15-20 faculties in computer department. faculties are very friendly and they are approachable at ease. there are some faculties i like because of their friendly nature and there are few faculties which i don't like because of their rude behaviour.
Night Life
we do not have any gym in college and college close at 6 pm everyday after that we can not get any facility we have library and cafeteria which is not good we have two hostels one having mess in hostel and one without hostel
