- Campus is greenary.i just loved it.Everywhere u see are plants and trees.

- Its a big campus so walking from one block another block I hate it

Placement Experience:
The students will be eligible to attend campus placements from the start of 7th semester. There are many top notch companies that visit BMSIT&M like major IT companies - accenture, capegemini, cognizant, HCL, Tech mahindra, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, amazon, dell, HP, siemens, adobe, Oracle and many more. The highest CTC is 46lpa and least is 3.5lpa and the averaga CTC is 7.5lpa. About 80% of students are seen getting placements even during the recession. I am being indecesive between going through placements or continuing my studies.

Placement start from 6th or 7th semester.And the placement for IT courses Ane very good.Placements for core engineering courses are not that good.Almost every IT courses student is placed(95% student).More than 150 companies visit every year.Highest package is of 46lpa.

- BMSIT has strong academic programs and their curriculum is regularly updated to keep in pace with the industry standards. Their faculty is very experienced and knowledgeable as well.
- The college has a lush green campus filled with plants and trees everywhere. The classrooms are well equipped and the labs have the latest equipment. The campus also has good wifi connectivity in certain regions.
Dislikes
- Since i am a first year student, we are still doing subjects which won't hold much importance in our careers and i would like to change that
- recently, our management was changed and since then the food quality in the canteen has gone down
Placement Experience:
students become eligible for placements from 6th semester itself. A lot of companies come to the college to recruit students for their companies and a lot of students go for off-campus interviews and selections as well. A lot of packages are offered with the average offer being 18-20LPA. Some of the companies that come to our campus every year for placements are Amazon, Wipro, Samsung, IBM etc. The percentage of students being placed fluctuates every year since it also depends on the job market but easily 40% of the students who sit for placements, get placed. Most of the placed students start working in the 7th sem itself as a part-time employee and a lot of students do major internships to boost their portfolio as well.

- The campus is beautiful and has a very positive environment
- There is no ragging among students and the teachers are also supportive.

- The daily working timings are from 8:30 to 4:30
- There are less fest compared to other colleges.
Placement Experience:
After the 6th semester exams the companies will come to college for placement of the students . 60%-70% of students get placement in campus.In 2023 the highest package was 24lpa and the average was 8lpa.

- The campus is really beautiful, there is abundance of greenery all around.
- The college places a lot of focus on academics instead of fests/events.
Dislikes
- The campus is situated 20km away from the center of the city, so travelling might be a little hectic.
- Attendance is given a lot of importance, this means the students have to maintain atleast 75% attendance, leaving little time for students to pursue their own interests.
Placement Experience:
Students sit for placements from 6th semester onwards, many companies visit the campus, some offer internships, some provide placements. The proper details regarding average package, highest package,etc are written in the college website. Average till last year was 9 lakhs, and highest was 46 lakh. Last year, in CSE, 96% of eligible students were placed.

- the placements of our college is really good , the avg package for cse and related branches is almost 10 lpa.
- The college has a 75% attendance policy but that too with leniency , if you are getting marks in your subjects you will definitely .
Dislikes
- The cultural events are not up to the mark, the annual cultural fest is utsaha vaibhava and the hostel fest is kalarava, if you want to have the best of the cultural and social events then thats not gonna happen in bmsit.
- The placements for not technical branches are not great enough , so do once think before joining one of the branches.
Placement Experience:
In the class of 2023 , the average overall salary was 897000, with the highest placement of 4640000 , placement is the best thing about bmsit , the placements cell ensures that each and every student who opts for the placement gets placed in companies (mncs as well as startups).

- I am from north people might have some doubt that you might be treated not good as south people but there is no such discrimination here
- The faculty are good and helpful to you if you have any sort of doubt

- There are bare minimum cultural events in this college there should be more just a fest is there and that to not that good like others
- The basic like sports is lacking there is no sports event also taking place
Placement Experience:
After 5th semester in 6th semester in this College placements are available and students are eligible who are not having a backlog or detention or something like that then they can sit in the placement and yes campus placement are very well like 90% of students are placed and there are many opportunities to go abroad also

- The stationary shop inside the college campus

- Campus is still under construction since years
- The girls hostel is around 4km away from the campus area
Placement Experience:
The placements start in the start of 4th uear and goes till the end of 8th semester. Even during the time of recession for our batch almost 80% of the people have been placed thanks to the college placement team. The placement process was really easy and we were given proper placement training beforehand by the college. We were also trained by conducting various company -like exams before the start of the placement season. The placement cell was really very helpful and they solved all our doubts very clearly. We could even ask for mock interview and they would provide us with whatever resources we required. Even during the placement season we could go to the placement cell anytime and get our queries and doubts resolved. Even if you are not eligible for a particular company and you want to sit for that company, the placement cell used to help soo much to let the student sit for the test. The placements were good and no injustice was done to any student.

- The College campus is lush green and it is in the outer side of bangalore so there is less pollution . The college do care about its students and help them for their overall developement . Also it is ranked among top 5 colleges of bangalore .
- Due to the quiet location of this college you can really focus on your skills and do your overall personality development . Also comparatively there is less distractions for students so they can study properly .
Dislikes
- Sometimes to go to some events and main city it takes a lot of time as the college location is somewhat remote . Also college does not provide guidance on how to travel in public transport as there is some language barriers among students .
- The 85 % attendance criteria is very hectic . Students get detained if they dont maintain minimum 85 % attendance . Some teachers are also very strict regarding attendance . College hours are also moe like 8 hours so you will get less time to study
Placement Experience:
Placements were quie good in 2022 but there is a dip in year 2023 the highest package went down from 45 to 26 lpa and the average also went down . Companies like Ola AMAZON WEB SERVICE , ATLASSIAN do visit the campus and if uou are among top 10 % students you can grab a good placement .
Likes
- Faculty are well good and experienced. They teaches us before the exam due time without pendings. And they are friendly to us even. We have some areas like kuteera and food court to get chill over there. Its just like a food canteen. Thats it.
- We have one college system. Which is called as Proctoring session. This is an interactive session between students and teacher. So we have a Proctor we can discuss about the issues related with college or faculty or anything.
Placement Experience:
I have no plans until now. I will plan it accordingly since I am still in my second semester. Obviously everyone's final step is do a xyz job in xyz company. So i think my seniors got good package. We have placement training classes also.
