Life at fergusson

Likes

a very vivid great and serene campus surrounded with many trees
very insightful syllabus practically the bestt
great staff they all are actually great teachers and teach really well

Dislikes

actually there is nothing to dislike everything is great
sometimes they tell you things very much on time
yess sooo nothing else to dislike in this college

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 3rd semester. I am going to start the process now from june. The companies such as springCT, Josh, Omniscient, Bluepineapple,etc. come for campus placements. Some companies make offers in lot or some lpick only 2/3. Almost all students get internships. In 4th semester we have to do internship compulsory. Average package is 7lpa if its a job offer if its an internship the it is lesser.

A campus life you must live once in your life - Fergusson College

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is really impressive at the first place.
The faculty is so nice and available that you will never feel unattended in your classes, nice labs and PCs with latest applications available in the college.
The extra credit courses and sessions are provided by the industry experts which really help to know how IT really works.

Dislikes

I wont say that i disliked something during my course but yes there is always room for improvement , so the placement opportunities can be availed to the students which will result helpful.

Placement Experience:

Placements in Fergusson are pretty good. Students are eligible for sitting in the placement drives from the 3rd semester, we also get Pre-placment activities and tests before the drive starts. We get companies like Axtria, Vois , bluepineapple etc on campus. The highest package is 10 - 12 lakhs and 4-6 lakhs on an average. In my batch out of the 30 people we 20 are placed so far on campus.

Is It Worth Taking Admission In Fergusson College For Masters in Data Science

Likes

Teaching that college provides is excellent
Opportunities that college gives is nice
Internship facilities and placements are also available

Placement Experience:

15-20 Companies comes in college for campus placements the industry organises the program for teaching skills to the student A lot of Industralists Visits and conducts seminar Highest Package is of 14LPA Average Package is INR 8Lacs

Students need to pay for parking everyday

Placement Experience:

In Fergusson for masters in computer science students can apply for placement in sem 3. There are high levels of companies which comes for placement and also placement packages are quiet good here. Percentage of students getting placed is also good

In Fergusson college campus is very good
The faculty of college is very good and supportive
Teaching stafff is very expert and syllabus is very well build

The Fergusson college canteen is not much good

For post graduation in Msc computer science the second year student are eligible for campus placement. Tcs, wipro, tech Mahindra, infosys, algoanlytics etc company are comes in college the highest packet of college provided 1500000 and avarage package is 800000. 70 percent are required for getting placements.

The college has very historic campus which is very attractive
The college has good and experienced teaching staff

The ferguson college have good curriculum. The ferguson college syllabus include real world entity like spring boot etc . The syllabus include industry based skilll which help students for their future to achieve their dream job.

They have good teaching staff and give knowledge out of the syllabus also
They have good placement cells before completion of our college we will get the job in our hands
The girls and boys ration almost 50:50 in class

Journey of the dream college

Likes

Teaching staff is very supportive and all are very experienced
Pre placement activity are taken by the senior which helps in placement
Seniors are very supportive and helpful, culture is very good and also college campus is very appealing

Dislikes

Student are little bit not comfortable of participating in the cultural activities because in our college there is so much fest are going in whole year

Placement Experience:

From the third semester students are eligible for the placement. There is a dedicated placement cell for the college which look out all the placement related activities and track all the students data for the placement.There is campus placement almost upto 20 compunies came for recruitment.Highest package is upto 14lpa and average is upto 3-4lpa

Excellent College

Likes

The college campus was very good and refreshing.
The college faculty was very cooperative and supportive.
The teaching staff is excellent and syllabus was very well build.

Dislikes

The college canteen was not much good ,it is not relevant.
There is no uniform for postgradute students.

Placement Experience:

The college is excellent in placement of computer science department.There are more than 30 company visits for campus placement.The average package it offers for computer science is 15lpa.The out 70 students of in last year class maximum 66 are placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was more focused on analysis and algebra subjects which made this course a little theoretical but if that's the case with whole DU. Some subjects like financial mathematics, game theory, calculus made us being interested in the course till end.

Fergusson College is one of the best colleges in Pune for Science and Arts courses. It offers a pro-active campus life. FC campus is a heritage place. You will never get tired of just roaming around the beautiful campus. If you are a bookworm, you will love the FC library.

The college offers good academics. It boasts about its great faculty pool. The peer group is diverse, you will meet students from all over the country.
