SIMSRC Faculty

The college maintains a faculty-student ratio ranging from 1:20 to 2:40, with clinical classes further divided into smaller groups of 5-10 students per teacher. The faculty is highly experienced, with qualifications from prestigious institutions like AIIMS and JIPMER, and includes over 100 doctors with master's degrees. The course comprises 3 years of academics followed by a 1-year internship at their own hospital.

Exams occur annually in November, with 3 internal assessments, and a minimum of 5 formative assessments per subject. Despite a challenging exam structure, about 80% of students secure jobs through campus selections. The increase in student intake has resulted in overcrowding issues. Faculty are committed to student success, involving themselves in both academic and extracurricular guidance.
