I applied to other colleges in Bangalore but am personally very happy with where i ended up. This college is the perfect mix of studies with extra curricular which makes learning more fun and less tiresome

Everything was smooth and good... everything happened as per KEA procedure...we had to initially register in KEA and from there th admission happens...it is like authorised by Karnataka government I'm under the RGUHS University
Was passionate about this profession in high school.Dropped for an year for entrance preparation and got selection in this college via COMEDK (based on neet score). Number of students in a batch is 150.Theory classes are divided among teachers . Clinical classes is by divided units of 20-30 students.Clinical postings is for a month for the major subjects. All the faculty have MBBS,MD qualification. some faculty in preclinical subjects have MSc degree in that subject. Teaching is by ppt presentations for theory, the laboratory is well established, clinical classes are more interactive. The number of clinical cases are limited since it is a new college. Examination-3 internal assessments and conducted in theory Practical- 3 exams Clinicals-3 end postings. University exams is yearly and is conducted on Dec for years except 1st year. Rguhs is a toughest university to pass and requires good reading
After clearing NEET exam, I got called for allotment process conducted in Bangalore. According to my marks and rank ,I had a few options to choose from. I chose BGS GIMS because of the location of the college in Bangalore, travel options and opportunities.
Teaching is really good. Extracurricular activities to be improved. More cultural committees should be made. And more activities should be conducted more frequently and involvement should be shown from the management and more support.
College is overall good except few faculties and facilities
Since its a new college it is not well recognized by common people and has a common misconception that its a new college so there is no facilities which is just a prejudice. And hospital doesnt have many patients as like in govt setup.
Good collelge with a good infrastructure and facilities but college doesn't have any canteen , students should go to hospital canteen Incase. There are two hospitals in this campus. One is super speciality hospital and the other is general hospital.
Good practical learning in our hospital there is a good number of patients so well learn and watch new cases our institution usually conducts CME which are very helpful to learn new and recent updates on the subjects.
