An additional security deposit of 110,000 INR is required. The hostel is compulsory for the first two years, and vacating is not allowed before completing the second year.

Some issues exist with food quality and water safety, though food is reportedly acceptable on certain days (Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday evenings). Meals primarily feature Kerala cuisine and are included in the fees. Facilities such as 24-hour electricity, hot water, daily cleaning, and well-ventilated rooms are available, though there are complaints about food not being worth the money. Hostel timings are strict, from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm. Despite some negative feedback on food and warden behavior, the hostel offers convenient proximity to the college campus.
