Remarks

Every College has a good and a bad thing. But I look for only positive things about my college

Entrance Preview

For MBBS, it was new n admission was easy. As it was a new college we were the first batch and everything was spoon fed. We had the advantage of being the only batch in the beginning and later the only super seniors. We were the most loved batch. They gave us all their concentration n made us study

Course Curriculum Overview

5

It’s good we don’t have a big campus but we can manage with that some other colleges don’t even have that. You get opportunities to participate in all co-curricular activities and no one will judge you for anything and the teachers n management is supportive. Oh! They have started many other courses for paramedics and I didn’t bother about the details

Internships Opportunities

Yes, an internship is compulsory for all MBBS College n students. They provide us with very little stipend compare to government college that is 5k but better than a few other private colleges. Good exposure as there are no pg students

Placement Experience

5

Doctors can get a job very easily, I’ve never seen a doctor struggling for a job and they always get decent pay. Good exposure during an internship makes u capable of handling situations and gives u better skills. They don’t give u a guarantee for a job and you don’t need one too.

College Events

4

There is a number of events which takes place in our college. Like any other college, we have college day, freshers day and send off. We try n celebrate every event possible. Other events like Kannada Rajyotsava, Independence Day, various CMEs, sports day etc...

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its completely changed after the introduction of NEET so I have no idea about new fee structure and all, but it is definitely expensive compared to other courses but compared to other medical colleges it is not too expensive. It’ll always be in lakhs. And the hostel fee was around 60k per year n mess fee depends on every month which will be around 2.5 to 3 k.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I don’t know any such things... but few ppl who are in categories get scholarships from the government.

Campus Life

4

We have a campus but it’s not a great one but its better than not having one we have college hospital n hostel in the same campus when having an extended campus for sports facilities and some we have the liability of using engineering college amphitheater for some of our functions

Hostel Facilities

4

hostel facilities are really good And we get 24hrs of electricity and mess food is OK it's not that bad. You can survive with this food. Hostel facilities are super good, goo electricity, u can get things repaired very easily and supervisors are good and helpful

Alumni/Alumna

We are the senior most students of this college and most of us are doing good, we flew out with colors and with the title of doctors

Exam Structure

We have to face 4 university exams throughout, and a minimum of 12 internal exams 3 in each year. Minimum marks for passing is 50% and it’s hard to score that because it’s not any other course. You have to score eligibility of 35% in aggregate of 2 internals to take up university exam. You have to pass every subject to take up next university exam.

Admission

It was easy in the beginning, now it’s a bit complicated. As there was no NEET when we got admissions we could directly approach management for admissions or through CET now it's a bit complicated as I don’t understand the NEET pattern n admissions process

Faculty

5

It’s not constant and keeps Changing. But we had always got good kind of faculties except very few who are average. They teach us what is necessary and they also tell us if we want more information. They also involve in all college activities with students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.
