Remarks

There are a lot of positive remarks- The college provides an exposure to the students, teaches them to stand on their on legs. The faculty are supportive but sometimes can be devastating as well. The internship is a bit hectic though.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course as everyone knows is a dream course. The college is affiliated to RGUHS : RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES. The exams and practicaks are taken as directed by the university. The part which feels a lot hectic is internship.

Placement Experience

Mbbs is a self make course but still a stipend of 25000 is provided for interns per month. Yes the college provides internship which us an inevitabke part of the course. The internship is a bit hectic though due to absence of clinical postgraduate students.

College Events

There is college fest each year. There is college day, freshers day, ethnic day. Also there is a cricket tournament held in the college sports ground every year known as RPL: RIMS PREMIER LEAGUE in which all tge batches participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible as thought for a course like mbbs. Its 58000 per calendar year. There us extra hostel and mess fees. Hostel fees is taken as a wgole in tge beginning i. e 11000. Hostel mess is 2000 per month.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the government provides a lot of scholarships for the students stydying in government medical colleges. Loans are also available in the State bank of India whose one of the branch is situated within the college.

Alumni/Alumna

The Interns are of a lot help when in clinical postings and also in guiding on how to learn and score. They also help a lot in evidence based learning. There is also an alumni association recently started.

Admission

The admission is through entrance exam and no other method of admission exists. Mbbs and Md are the courses offered in the college. The admission is through option entry in neet ug as well as pg. Non clinical pg subject courses are offered.

Faculty

The professors are all postgraduates of their own subjects with some of them having nearly 50 years of experience in teaching. The clinical subjects also have junior and senior residents who help a lot in evidence based learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is as per RGUHS Banglore which adequately prepared students for real world experience. The teaching methods need to be more competitive with case study of patients. The internal exams are conducted thrice in a year giving exposure to students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS Is not a course but a dream for my parents and emotion for me as well . The dissection hall were the dead teaches the living and the postings where communication is learnt the family adoption programme help us to visit the rural areas and look after the alloted familes we were asked to look after there health with our frequent visits to the villages once a month for 3 years of time. Part completion tests are conducted after ever month and assessed our performance we have internals which are quite difficult but a better preparation would help us to do it better. Internals held every 3 months.

Good College For MBBS

Admission:

Since I had an inclination towards making medicine as a career I opted for MBBS course in this college. The reason for choosing this college is best in our area (Hoskote). Sat for the NEET exam and cleared it. Marks were good enough so got the college in 3rd of counseling. I also gave AIIMS and JIPMER exam as well.

I also applied for the bangalore medical college and Research institute but unfortunately because of less ranking i didnt make it to that college but i even applied for bidar institute of medical sciences . As compared to brims i found rims to be better option because of the patients flow for better learning in rims we have 500 bedded hospital and many other 250 bedded hospitals. Average patients flow of rims is around 2500 per day as compared to brims which is around 1500 per day And the cadaver which every medico waits for dissection Brims with 150 strength has 5 cadavers where as rims has 8 cadavers with same strengths which provide less crowd and helps us to look at the cadaver and learn without difficulty Bmcri also has 8 cadaver but with 250 strength . Neet is the exam to get admitted into this college Cut off for bmcri with hk is around 6000 ranking And rims is around with hk quota for general students is around 55000 and brims is around 60000.admission is done throught kea...Read More
