Remarks
There are a lot of positive remarks- The college provides an exposure to the students, teaches them to stand on their on legs. The faculty are supportive but sometimes can be devastating as well. The internship is a bit hectic though.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course as everyone knows is a dream course. The college is affiliated to RGUHS : RAJIV GANDHI UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES. The exams and practicaks are taken as directed by the university. The part which feels a lot hectic is internship.
Placement Experience
Mbbs is a self make course but still a stipend of 25000 is provided for interns per month. Yes the college provides internship which us an inevitabke part of the course. The internship is a bit hectic though due to absence of clinical postgraduate students.
College Events
There is college fest each year. There is college day, freshers day, ethnic day. Also there is a cricket tournament held in the college sports ground every year known as RPL: RIMS PREMIER LEAGUE in which all tge batches participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible as thought for a course like mbbs. Its 58000 per calendar year. There us extra hostel and mess fees. Hostel fees is taken as a wgole in tge beginning i. e 11000. Hostel mess is 2000 per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the government provides a lot of scholarships for the students stydying in government medical colleges. Loans are also available in the State bank of India whose one of the branch is situated within the college.
Alumni/Alumna
The Interns are of a lot help when in clinical postings and also in guiding on how to learn and score. They also help a lot in evidence based learning. There is also an alumni association recently started.
Admission
The admission is through entrance exam and no other method of admission exists. Mbbs and Md are the courses offered in the college. The admission is through option entry in neet ug as well as pg. Non clinical pg subject courses are offered.
Faculty
The professors are all postgraduates of their own subjects with some of them having nearly 50 years of experience in teaching. The clinical subjects also have junior and senior residents who help a lot in evidence based learning.
