Course Curriculum Overview

So we had what is called as early clinical exposure where we were exposed to the clinical part of MBBS in our first year of course And we also had AETCOM classes where we were taught regarding the basics moral the doctor should have during their professional period of life

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 831045 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Mine was a GMP seat.Total fee including tution fee was 798000 it included skill lab fees too which was 45000.For government seat it was 125000. The fees need to be paid for 4.5 years.Many scholarships are available for merit students

Campus Life

The campus as such is average . There is a library facility with decent amount of clinical materials for our access . The class is of gallery kind with projector and a teaching board . We used to have a cultural and sports fest once a year which used to be for a month

Admission

I got this college through kea counselling where i had to apply for colleges based on my priorities. For the counselling you need to appear in neet and score the minimum required marks . The admission process was smooth

Faculty

There are many sgd in which the students will be divided into small batches and the discussions will be done and also there is early clinical exposure which helps in orientation to the clinicals subjects in the initial days

Interview Experience

I got into college through my NEET score . The counselling was held by karnataka education authority through which i was alloted to this college. You should have the basic eligibility criteria to get into this college.

Night Life

There are many good socialable places in the surrounding area. There are many gym facilities ,restaurants, street foods in the surrounding area. There are many resto cafe which opened very recently There are good places to hangout with friends

Course Curriculum Overview:

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year

Positive- many, cannot list all of them. Few of them include - -good exposure to patients in internship. -nice exposure in curricular and extracurricular activities like sports. -greenery around the campus -good infrastructure Negative remarks -very hot climate -water related problems in the premises -lack of cafeteria around the campus

The Sapthagiri mess

For my score of 535 in 2021 NEET exam, this is college I was appointed for a government seat as I could not afford a private seat. I wanted a seat in ramaiah or adichunchungiri medical college as they have better infrastructure and facilities with respect to hygiene and the environment. There would be better exposure to patients too in these colleges. If my score was a few marks more then I would have been able to join these colleges. As I had no other option, I chose this college. The admission process was average. They took a very long time to set a date for the admission. After that , they failed to inform us about the documents we needed to submit and the number of copies we needed to submit which made a huge mess during the admission process. The crowd management was bad and the office staff were rude too. Overall the communication was not good and organisation of all the work could have been better handled...Read More
