Zonal Co-Curricular Academic Competitions-2018 of Punjab School Education Board commences at LPU

Jalandhar, 14^th November 2018: Zonal Co-Curricular Academic Competitions-2018 of Punjab School Education Board (PSEdB) commenced at Lovely Professional University Campus on November 13, 2018. About 4500 school students and teachers from more than 150 schools of 6 districts of the state (Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Moga, Barnala, Hoshiarpur & SBS Nagar) are showcasing their talents. Punjab School Education Board has entrusted such an enormous conduction to LPU 9th time in a row. Artists associated with All India Radio, Doordarshan and reputed art institutions are evaluating the talents of the participants. Praising constructive approach of school competitions, LPU Chancellor Mr. Ashok Mittal has wished all the best to participating officers, students, and teachers for the success of the event.

Held annually at the block, district, zonal and state levels in chronological order, these competitions have due academic weight-age for the participants. These competitions help participants in having a reservation of seats for all academic and professional courses at the university as well as school levels, as per their talent potentialities. Different competitions this year include Shabad Gayan, War Gayan, Kavishri, Kavita Uchchaarn, Bhashan, Sunder Likhai, Chitrakala, Aam Gyan, Maulik Likhit, Lok Naach, Solo Dance, One Act Play, Bhangra, Giddha, Gatka and more.
