• I am staying off campus. I found my accommodation through Facebook student groups, WhatsApp housing chats, and websites like Zillow and Apartments.com. The process was a bit challenging at first due to high rent prices in Hoboken and the need to find reliable roommates. it took some time to compare options, contact landlords, and finalise a place that fit my budget.

• Since the US job market has been historically difficult the past year or two, students have faced a lot of difficulties finding a job, and Stevens, being a relatively lesser-known college with a weak alumni network, does not help in this regard.
• The career fairs are also largely disappointing, mostly because the companies that come usually don't hire international students and there are so many students in line that you don't get a chance to attend many of the talks or visit all the desks. It is up to us to find a job by cold applying on job portal sites, by getting referrals from people and applying internally, by having our resume passed on to the hiring manager and by networking. Networking is the most important skill to learn.

• Firstly, reach out to people who you know living in that area; they will help. Then join as many whatsapp, facebook and telegram groups as you can that are dedicated to housing. You can also check sites like zillow and apartments.com to look for rentals It is a challenge to find accommodation so you have to be patient and you can't start at the 11th hour.

• For Stevens business school it’s on number 5th position in rank and most of the students end up securing a job after there graduation, for the past record 96-98% of my senior got a job after completing there graduation from Stevens.
• They also have industry cape-stone program for making you industry ready, they invite alumni’s from different companies who share there experience also there is COPA who help you build your resume and cover letter according to your qualifications job profile and position for which you want to apply.
• Companies like Deloitte, IBM, Google, Meta, etc are few companies where our seniors got placed!
   

• As I mentioned previously Stevens do not provide accommodation for graduate students but they do provide dorms for undergraduate students, so you need to find the accommodation on your own.
• I found accommodation from whatsapp groups, but few other options from you can get leads are from facebook or connecting to the seniors or other students from other universities living in that particular location and find an accommodation, my monthly rent is 580$ for a sharing room,
• In New Jersey you will find few houses way too old or having rats or insects so be careful while selecting the accommodation.
• For a good accommodation you pay at least 500$ for a sharing room and at least 700-800$ for a private room.
• Students prefer to live in Jersey City, jersey heights or journal square.
• From my place university is 40mins of walking distance but you get the bus after 5mins of walking distance and free university shuttles from 20mins of walking distance.
   

• Around 85% of my graduating batch secures employment within 6 months of completing the course. The average salary range for graduates is $60,000 to $80,000 annually. Most students find jobs through campus recruitment, networking, internships, and online job portals.
• My batchmates have been placed in companies like Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, and JPMorgan, in roles such as financial analysts and consultants. Major companies hiring graduates include PwC, EY, and Accenture.

• I found my accommodation through online platforms and student groups on Telegram. The rent was $700/month, excluding utilities like Wi-Fi and laundry. Challenges included high competition and securing a lease remotely. I recommend starting early and joining student networks. My place is a 35-minute walk from campus; most Indian students stay nearby in shared apartments.

• According to statistics around 90% get a job, but keep in mind there are no placements in the US so it all depends on the individual.

• I used whats app group an took rented an apartment.
• 3 bedroom apartment costs around 2300 dollars to 3000 dollars per month.
• Usually electricity,gas and Wifi is seperate. This will cost around $50 per month.
• Get on whatsapp groups and talk to people.
• Accomodation is around 1 mile from college, around 40 minutes. Most indian students stay in this area called Jersey City - heights.

The post-study placement opportunities are great if you are skilled enough. Currently, the markets are a little down but it's all about the hard work that we put in to reach our dreams.

I submitted SOP and LOR . Mentioned about my passion towards computer science and my overall goal to accomplish my future targets. I did not have any rounds and was directly selected for a dean's excellence scholarship for my profile. The main reason to choose this university is for its easily customizable courses. I would simply recommend my university to everyone who is willing to study any computer based courses . It's really great here and i love everything about my university.

Currently as the Computer Science and IT industry is going through recession the jobs aren't much and the internships are lacking for master students but if the case was different the situation would have been much better and the opportunities would be wonderful.

Geography, Ranking, Course Specialization The course had the opportunity to pick electives from any fields. My classes are really only 1 day in a week as have chosen 2 subjects of London 2 subjects online we were given the opportunity to choose between the offline of online studies But I do visit my college if there are any extra regular activities or club participation required. My experience have been Wonderful with my colleagues and my faculty and the environment is just so beautiful to spend my days there in my graduate studies.

The college career fair was an excellent opportunity to talk to industry professionals and understand the work culture.

The college experience was great. The academic experience is very different from what was in India.

The median salary for my course is usually in the range of $85-90k per annum, however this year due to recession the numbers seem to have taken a hit.

Pretty good place to be in. The proximity to NYC is an added advantage. Lots of places to see and there's lots to learn. A good experience overall.
