- The location near NYC offers amazing career opportunities.
- The faculty is supportive and encourages hands-on learning.
- The campus has a morde feel and a strong tech-focused environment.
Dislikes
- Hight tuition fees and sometimes limited course availability during registration.
- Course registration can be frustrating at times.
- Some administrative processes are slow and confusing.
Campus Life
- Stevens has a single main campus located in Hoboken, New jersey, with a beautiful view of the New York City skyline. The campus is well-equipped with modern facilities like a large library, gym, sports fields, student center, and on-campus health services.
- There are many student-run clubs covering tech, culture, entrepreneurship, and the arts.
Accommodation
- I am staying off campus. I found my accommodation through Facebook student groups, WhatsApp housing chats, and websites like Zillow and Apartments.com. The process was a bit challenging at first due to high rent prices in Hoboken and the need to find reliable roommates. it took some time to compare options, contact landlords, and finalise a place that fit my budget.

Likes
- The location of the college is spectacular. Not just for the view but for making use of being close to New York City for any events, social life, networking etc
- The program that I was a part of did give an extremely unique experience and something I won't forget; the chance to study in Spain and learn about sports was fun
- We had the chance to take part in a lot of extra curricular activities which helped stay active in college and make new connections
Dislikes
- Coming from a technical background, the Business Intelligence & Analytics coursework was not challenging enough
- Too many international students (specifically Indian) reduced the diversity and exposure to different cultures one would hope to see at an international university
- Being a small college and having so many international students looking for on-campus employment, the struggle and chance of getting an on campus job was difficult
Campus Life
- There is one main campus (it's a pretty small college). We have a library, 2 gyms, a swimming pool, a soccer/lacrosse field and 3 basketball courts along with other sport facilities. There are a lot of clubs that you can join and each of the clubs looks to host 2-3 events per year so there are definitely things to attend if you know where to look.
Accommodation
- Firstly, reach out to people who you know living in that area; they will help. Then join as many whatsapp, facebook and telegram groups as you can that are dedicated to housing. You can also check sites like zillow and apartments.com to look for rentals It is a challenge to find accommodation so you have to be patient and you can't start at the 11th hour.

Likes
- Always quick at responding to students query and try to resolve it as soon as possible.
- Clean and big campus.
- You get shuttle services in Hoboken at any time.
Dislikes
- Administrative Delays: Processes like course registration, financial aid disbursement, and transcript requests often take longer than expected, causing unnecessary stress.
- Limited Class Availability: Some high-demand courses, particularly in data science and analytics, fill up quickly, making it difficult to secure a spot without early registration.
- Parking Challenges: On-campus parking is limited and often overcrowded, making commuting a time-consuming and frustrating experience.
Campus Life
- Stevens has only one campus located at Hoboken New Jersey.
- All kinds of facilities is available at Stevens and it also is open campus so it’s kind of mixed with the city it has parks, huge library and even all the buildings in the campus have separate library each, they have a gym, multiple sports court for different games all the medical services provided in the school, there is a police car as well as other emergency services always available for any major problems or incidents.
- There are multiple clubs or events organized for students since the beginning of there sessions you can enroll in the events which interest you through Stevens duck link app few of the events are free and for few they charge bare minimum.
- You can explore New Jersey and New York learn different sports and new activities or about the festivals by indulging in this kind of activities.
Accommodation
- As I mentioned previously Stevens do not provide accommodation for graduate students but they do provide dorms for undergraduate students, so you need to find the accommodation on your own.
- I found accommodation from whatsapp groups, but few other options from you can get leads are from facebook or connecting to the seniors or other students from other universities living in that particular location and find an accommodation, my monthly rent is 580$ for a sharing room,
- In New Jersey you will find few houses way too old or having rats or insects so be careful while selecting the accommodation.
- For a good accommodation you pay at least 500$ for a sharing room and at least 700-800$ for a private room.
- Students prefer to live in Jersey City, jersey heights or journal square.
- From my place university is 40mins of walking distance but you get the bus after 5mins of walking distance and free university shuttles from 20mins of walking distance.

- Accessibility to New York City
- Campus is extremely beautiful considering its in a big city
Dislikes
- Not that great of a value addition
- A few professors did a pathetic job barely teaching you anything
- Student success centre isn’t well updated with the information to help student beyond college
Campus Life
- My college has one main campus located in Hoboken, New Jersey. Facilities include a well-equipped library, fitness center, sports courts, and on-campus medical services.
Accommodation
- I found my accommodation through online platforms and student groups on Telegram. The rent was $700/month, excluding utilities like Wi-Fi and laundry. Challenges included high competition and securing a lease remotely. I recommend starting early and joining student networks. My place is a 35-minute walk from campus; most Indian students stay nearby in shared apartments.

- Great location. It is situated in Hoboken on the Hudson river bank. The college overlooks Manhattan. Great Access to NYC.
- Great Professors, helpful and approachable
- Lot of small events for graduate students. Many events offer free food as well. For the location it has decent recreational activities.
Dislikes
- Too many Indian graduate students as a result the diversity is low.
- Class timings are in the evening, hence sometimes you will have class till 9 in the night (There are some labs till 10pm).
- Not much college culture since it is a small tech school in an expensive location.
Campus Life
- They only have 1 main campus.
- We have a library, a football field, tennis, bowling, swimming pool, gym, music rooms, theater and medical services which is not great.
- The majority of clubs and festivals are for undergrads. Grad students have professional clubs like consulting clubs, business intelligence clubs, and also cultural clubs like the Indian Students Association. They host various events, like Diwali celebrations, etc..
- Gyms and sports facilities: Everyone can book using the app.
Accommodation
- I used whats app group an took rented an apartment.
- 3 bedroom apartment costs around 2300 dollars to 3000 dollars per month.
- Usually electricity, gas and Wifi is seperate. This will cost around $50 per month.
- Get on whatsapp groups and talk to people.
- Accomodation is around 1 mile from college, around 40 minutes. Most indian students stay in this area called Jersey City - heights.

Everything is just great and lively. All facilities are available and its in your hands how you utilize them.
Accommodation
I've rented a house outside and is sharing it with a friend of mine. The rent is around 500 USD and overall including utilities and expenses costs around 800 USD.
Campus Life
Clubs are active like grad culture, counseling and consulting and some sports clubs, libraries is large study space with comfortable learning environment, wifi us good but masters students mostly don't indulge in sport but are frequented to gym, bowling and swimming.
Accommodation
Most masters students Live outside the campus accommodation in my case most of my fellow students 11 Jersey City when a college is in Hoboken and the costs is minimal but the most of the buildings in Jersey City are old.

Excellent campus life. It has a beautiful view of NYC skyline. The library is very resourceful.
Accommodation
I rented an apartment with my friends.
Likes
- Proximity to a hub like New York, good curriculum and faculties.
Campus Life
It's a quaint campus located in the backdrop of NY skyline. It's got a good 3 storied library, tennis courts, badminton and Basketball courts, football and baseball field.
Accommodation
Rents in general are on the higher side in NY and NJ. Around $600-700 is the more likely rent cost. Sharing the room with another classmate would be a good option if you want to save on rent. Plenty of groceries and restaurants are there in the vicinity.
Campus Life
overall campus is great but it’s small with less activities. good library and good indoor health
Accommodation
I was staying outside with approx rent $800 and then other expenses of $400 per month
