Scholarship

  • GTAs and GRAs get tuition fee waivers and I got it for my last semester. It also covers 75 per cent of your student health insurance and fees go around 1000 a semester.
  • You also get paid a stipend which depends on how many hours you are appointed for and the department which you are working for for the base rate of salary but least it could be is around 1000

Scholarship

  • I have received funding; as per my knowledge, there are no scholarships but financial aid and funding are available through GTA/GRA positions.
  • For the GTA/GRA positions, the tuition fee component is waived off, and a monthly stipend of 1200-1900 USD is given per month.
  • A good number of students, 30–35%, I think, receive this funding.
  • For financial aid, it is highly case-by-case dependent.

Scholarship

  • No, students can apply for Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) or Research Assistant (RA) positions.
  • These roles come with significant benefits, including a full tuition fee waiver, which covers the entire cost of tuition.
  • Additionally, GTAs and RAs often receive a stipend, helping to cover living expenses and other costs, making graduate education more affordable

Overview

Georgia Tech is the 2nd best public school in the US for Chemical Engineering. But this is not the only reason to choose Gatech, there were several factors and a lot of research behind it. I also got admitted to some of the best universities. I created a preference matrix that helped me to choose the best one and Gatech stood out as the the best out of that. My initial experience was tough because the course was rigorous and it was not easy to cop up with all the stuff at once after landing in this company. But now it's pretty good as I am used to and have a lot to learn.

Scholarship

Nope, I didn't receive any scholarship.

Overview

"I had to submit 3 LoRs, SoP and CV. Key points for SoP: 1. Should be a coherent story with the following points. 2. Why I chose ECE? 3. Why you chose this area? 4. Choice of advisors with reasons 5. Why I chose this university? CV: Mentioned research project/publications in detail. Mentioned other important projects." Based on my advisor's research. Also, ECE program at Georgia Tech is one of the best programs in US for research. The overall experience is excellent.

My overall experience at Georgia Tech is academically challenging but educating. There’s so many clubs to make friends and the campus is so beautiful to relax in the nature while also having modern and high tech features in the library.
