Likes

The best thing in our college is our library that's too big and mostly every kind of books are available there
There are lots of labs and has a lots of computers
Teachers are very friendly and helpful..

Dislikes

Wifi issues wifi do not run properly biggest issue
Less events as compare to private universities
Self study is important man no one is going to teach you line to line

In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement many companies visited to our university for instance kpmg,tata, accenture,amdocs and many more. Highest package is 16lakhs lowest is 3.45lakhs around 20 students got placement out of 60 on campus my plans after degree is to study abroad

The thing I liked the most is value my college holds.... That I studied from GNDU it compares directly to iit and bits it degree is very valuable more valuable than 95% of college in Punjab.
The faculty is here is so awesome the professors have their own way to teach. And the best thing they know how to make the students get interested in their subject and learn. It may be a simple thing for such highly qualified professors.
Seniors are very supportive....there is no sign of ragging in this college. They run communities host the events cultural,sports etc and etc. the never behaved rudely with not in the college neither somewhere else.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is kind of very less. There is no boys hostel in the college and there are only 2 departments.
The sports are weak only limited games are available like football, cricket.

Placement Experience:

We become eligible from starting for any job it just based on your skill I am in the 1st semester and I do get offers from company. The highest package offered here is 14lakh per year the company I forgot it was on a poster in the college campus. The average package is 7lakh per annum. The companies are TCS , tech Mahindra , reliance, Accenture and many more.i do have plans to do PhD in CSE so may be doing mtech after this.

Likes

Seniors are enthusiastic and encouraging.
Faculty is really well educated and helpul.
Hostel is the best thing about this college

Dislikes

Infrastructure is outdated buildings need to be renovated.
Curriculum is very outdated that needs to be updated.
Campus should be maintained properly and coding culture should be encouraged.

Placement Experience:

In 7th semesters students starts preparing for placements. Due to recession number of companies coming to our college is very less. The average packages are 600000 per annum. Only 12 students got placed last year.

All about rc jalandhar

Likes

Less fees than other institutions making it affordable
Good hostel environment no ragging and friendly senior and staff
Cooperative teachers and office staff willl always help 4000 books available in library

Dislikes

Extremely small campus with no boys hostel
No events and coding culture in college. No clubs to join leading to zero skills
Very old curriculum with irrelevant subjects like punjabi english.

I do liked the sincere atmosphere opt for studying...
I appreciate the highly qualified professional Teachers for the guidance provided.
I even liked the library of the campus for self study.

Dislikes

I didn't expected it to be so formal in nature.
Autocratic and lethargic attitude towards the students.
I didn't liked the canteen facility in general.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Completing my Bachelor's Of Commerce from GURU NANAK DEV UNIVERSITY (GNDU) had highly impacted my life as It prepared me to be a Better person in the society. Proper Assistance for teaching staff and Faculty members in assingnments helped in cooperation and team work. Semester wise exams are conducted by the Faculty which are not that much difficult to be performed.

Campus environment is cool Diffrent functions are done from time time
Canteen items are tasty everything nice sitting place
Staff is good cooperative no major problem of attendance

Dislikes

Campus is very far away from main city . But now due to construction of bridge it is easier
People usually dont work of ground level non teaching staff

The trend of media is going very up so i choose this stream also i had interest in this also motivated me to join . This course should imply more on practicality rather than theory. Students should be motivated to go in the field to get more exposure.

Bitter Truth of GNDU, RC, Jalandhar

Placement Experience:

After completing their 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package is around 12L and the average package is 5.5L. The percentage of students getting placements is 96%. After completing my degree, my plan is to get a job and earn and after that go to Canada for further studies.
