Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very outdated. This needs to be updated time to time. There are so many useless subjects which can be removed from the curriculum. More practical and industrial knowledge should be given to students.

Class Size: 66Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

In 7th semesters students starts preparing for placements. Due to recession number of companies coming to our college is very less. The average packages are 600000 per annum. Only 12 students got placed last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are total 8 semester. For odd semesters the fees is nearly 85000 and for even semesters the fees is 56000. There is 100% scholarship for sc and st students. There is only girls hostel in the campus. Fees for hostel is 20000 excluding mess charges. Mess charges are on daily basis Addmission are solely based on class 12 marks. 50% seats are reserved for sc and st students.

Campus Life

Campus life is zero. There is no coding cultural in this college. Few seniors are trying to change that hope that happens. Networking is very hard. There are no extracurricular activities offered in the campus. It has a good library

Hostel Facilities

In first year you get the 3 seater room but after that you can opt for 2 seater room. The hostel staff is very friendly and registrations is very easy. Mess is really good. Hostel is really affordable.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

This college is very affordable as compared to other 2 and 3 tier colleges. I was recommended this college by my friends and relatives as it was near my hometown and it i was told that it has a very good placements.

Faculty

There is very limited teachers in the campus. But all of them are approachable and helpful. Level of exams is not very difficult. There are mid SEMESTER exams and end SEMESTER exams Mid sem are of 30 marks and end sem are of 70 marks.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

Reality ??

I closed this college because this is the most reputed college in my city. I did applied to other colleges but I would go there if I wouldn't be able to make it here. This is the best in the city. The admission process is informative and simple. It all starts with online form and then a short list is made after that you are called for counseling that is where you are offered courses based on percentage on 4 subjects physics maths chem eng also. After that you apply for the Desired course for which again you get shortlisted and you then after making all the shortlisted you get selected. ???? The exams were 12th and jee (optional).
