Ans. The BE {Lateral} program is a 3-year course for diploma holders who directly enter the 2nd year of the BE program, skipping the 1st year. The curriculum from 2nd year onwards is the same as the regular 4-year BE program. The degree awarded is identical - BE in Civil Engineering from GTU. The only difference is the entry point and duration.
