- The environment here is very positive with respect to studies and all the other activities so yeah you can find many new stuff to explore for your career.
- You'll discover a very great coding culture here and that would help you engross into healthy coding competition
- All the hackathons and fun events everything helps us in personal development
Dislikes
- Sometimes the professors focus a bit too much on mugging up rather than teacher actual concepts
- You can something feel stressed out due to excessive academic pressure but that is what shapes you
- I dont really find any other negatives,its a good place to study
Placement Experience:
You can be eligible for placements for somewhere around 6-7th semester, the placements here are pretty good and they claim 100% placements.
Many big MNC's visit here and recruit students
The highest on campus package was 1.2 cr in 2023 and you can expect about 8lpa as an avg package
I will most probably pursue a job after degree.

- The environment of the campus is really appreciative and is maintained very neatly.
Dislikes
- In my personal experience, for the fashion technology course we are needed to go to different classes in different blocks
Placement Experience:
Your placement training starts from 6th semester and you'll be needed to pay a certain amount to sit for the placements. There are super dream and dream offers which offers the highest amount of salaries and students with cgpa above 9.5 are mostly offered those jobs.

The VIT offers placement to top companies every year. The college also gives placement training for the students to effectively get into the companies. The average package got by students is 8LPA. More than 90% of the students who attend the placements get placed.

- The faculties, research and project opportunities provided are all very great. It is a very nice place if you like to fully explore you potential and indulge in learning throughout as a hobby.
- The campus provides all the facilities, from good food places Dominos and a bank all inside the campus makes the campus life complete as each necessity of the student is fulfilled within the campus only.
- The Labs have very good instruments and softwares, the facilities and quality of the labs is amazing
Dislikes
- The process of taking leave is a little complex, although it provides a good safety of the students as they can’t go out of the campus without proper approval from their parents, sometimes in emergency condition the same procedure may be difficult.
Placement Experience:
The placements are good, they start from the day a student enters there 7th semester of B.Tech - various companies start to visit the recruitment drive for both full time and internship along with PPO offers.
The students start to get placement opportunities very early which is kind of a purpose of one’s education.

- VIT is a very good college for those who couldn't do enough in jee and are willing to make the amendments now. you can do projects , research works,get publications etc. you will always be encouraged ,very good college for enjoying college life.
- VIT has a great bunch of people from different cultures to hang around with. 24 hours electricity , 20 hours free wifi , 24 hours water supply both hot and cold .very good college for foodies
- VIT has a branch of dominos inside the campus itself which is very helpful for students
Dislikes
- very bad college for those who despirately want to show their love in public. public display of affection is strictly prohibited inside the campus. your ill-mannered behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be sent home
- very bad college for those who want a peaceful walk out of hostel. this place is over crowed . very bad college if you are looking for the same quality teachers who taught you jee portions
- at times you will curse yourself after interacting with some professors
Placement Experience:
from 6th sem students are eligible for blacements maintain a good CGPA so that you will be eligible for placement to almost every companies. usually aroung 100 companies used to come and companies like google , amazon etc also used to visit. A lmost 90 percent of the studentts used to get placed through campus placements.

- The college has a good environment, and in case you choose to opt for hostel all your basic needs are fulfilled inside the campus
- The faculties are amicable and friendly apart from a few bad eggs you'll have to tiptoe around however they are all very helpful and resourceful as long as you show enough drive and focus
Dislikes
- The crowd.Despite the pros of vit, it's very crowded and while it does you give you ample amount of people to meet and learn from, after a point it gets a bit irritating
- Expenditure. Might Seem a little weird to a dislike but it's something to watch out for, due to its multiple food areas you tend to go on a food spree more often than not.
Placement Experience:
I'm unsure of the placements as I haven't graduated yet, but most people from mechanical opt to pursue master's abroad or inside India. Germany or most European countries are good if expensive options for master's. NTU or NUS are also good options. And then there's the ivy league in the US too.

- The infrastructure is really so good, each building contains at least of 10 floors
- The activities and the programs are very unique and different which actually we have everyday in our collage
- Most importantly students from every region in INDIA are there in our collage , so we can different kinds of cultures in our collage
Dislikes
- In hostels we have only 4 lifts, so we have to wait for lifts for long time
- In mess the food is good but some days its not and the on non veg day they provide very little amount of nonveg food
- The permission for outing is really a big process, whenever if we wanna go out we need apply for leave request and it should be accept by our protractor and parents too
Placement Experience:
If we are good enough in our acedamics then we dont need to worry about the placements , if we maintaine good CGPA and if we focus more on our skillls insted of subjects then we will place in our college placements itself. Many multinational companies will visit vit chennai every year like microsoft , amazon , infosis, google, deloite, tata , and many others. the highest package of vit chennai last year is 75lakhs and the average package is 8.19 lakhs and my plans after the degree is to get a good god with atleast 12 LPA

- INFRASTRUCTURE - Every class is equipped with smart boards and projectors , and also 2 green boards
- Diverse Student Community - VIT has students from all over the country like there are students from Jammu and Kashmir
Dislikes
- Location - This college is located far from the city near the outskirts, even though public transport is available to this college
- Internet Connectivity - There is a bit slow internet and selected places of 5G net avialability.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements
The companies visited are many like wipro, Deloitte, TCS etc the number of offers made are available on their website itself you can check it out there.
The highest package was 1.3 Cr per annum average is around 6LPA
I am not sure about the Statistics, it is available in the website
I want to get a job from placement.

- The nature around vit is so good and peaceful. The campus is also beautiful and lovely.
- The academics in vit is good, like the professors here are so much qualified.

- Some professors are rude. Like if they dont like you they send you out of class for no reason.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum deals with both theory and practical classes. The reason i chose mechatronics is on my interest. The curriculum gives ample amount to theory classes and practical classes which help us to gain knowledge and they also give us oppurtunities to apply them in real life. Some improvements have to be made in the course like, the amount of practical classes must be increased so that the student will have idea of what they have to deal with in the future.

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
