- As a female, I highly appreciate the safety of women maintained in the campus, as well as the measures ensured while going out. The hostels are immensely safe for female students, which I highly admire.
- I love the different types of subjects we get to study every year, from electronics to maths to foreign language to the different programming languages in my course- CSE.
- I appreciate the lab facilities a lot, and the system of grading in my college, which is relative grading for subjects and absolute for labs. Due to relative grading, even in cases of strict correction or difficult paper, the student doesn't suffer.
Dislikes
- I personally don't prefer the extreme system of strict malpractice checking. I have myself been falsely accused once for suspected malpractice when it later got clearly proven that I was innocent.
- I wish invigilators would put right effort into students who actually commit to malpractice and not the innocent ones.
- We have exams literally every month- a little too harsh, perhaps?

- The campus is really pretty and eco friendly. Very calm for a walk
- Provided with alot of food places like Domino's
- No dress code so we can dress prettily but it shud be modest

- they have fully flexible credit system that is you can choose your own faculty.
- the campus is green and big, and food shops are available at every corner.
- you can choose your subjects every semester and there is no compulsion as you have to complete a 150 or 160 credits in 4 years.

- in time for girls is 8 pm and boys is 9 pm
- to go out of the campus you need permission from parents hostel and proctor, and a very long procedure and you can go outing only for 6 hours.

- Good educational environment.We have a choice to choose our own faculty through FFCS system which is very advantageous.
- Social cultural Clubs .We can join whatever Club we are interested in.
- Vibrant mix of cultures available at the campus.

- Kinda strict.Campus life must be made much more flexible.
- Outing procedures are strict and for certain hours limit.
- Overpriced commodities are sold at the campus.

- Academics is very good. The college particularly focuses on the academic and made it very strict. Students with scores greater that 9 gpa have benefits which makes us competitive to be better and study well than gooding around.
- Provides elective courses, languages and other social courses which makes us gain knowledge on prospects other than Btech.
- Have all the lab facilities and infrastructure.

- Very strict. College is unnecessarily strict in a few things which makes us feel suffocated sometimes.
- Hostels are not up to the standard for the fee we pay. Boys get better facilities in hostels than girls
- Need to focus more on co curricalr activities and fun that we are supposed to have in college.

- The infrastructure and the campus as a whole is great, the academic buildings are great.

- The ffcs system gives you the opportunity to choose teachers and courses you like and also helps you meet new people

- Due to the everchanging classes due to ffcs, you get new people in classes everytime.

- The college offers a fully flexible credit system where students can get the flexibility to opt for course they love , according to their free time slots, therefore making life less hectic.
- The Chennai campus offers a Library that functions till 12 pm, it has free wifi that is available till 12pm and is a full air conditioned building.
- There 100's of different clubs a person can join, there is a club for all areas of interest, which helps students interact with like minded individuals and learn more.
Dislikes
- The campus is very strict on public display of affection , except guards come and take your id card even if you are not involving in public display of affection.
- The dress code is very strict for girls , you have to be full covered from head to toe , no skirts, no shorts , no sleeveless. Its very unfair and sexist , since boys are allowed to wear whatever they want.
- Campus is Huge , not always a good thing, you have to walk 10 - 15 mins just to reach class , you are not allowed to keep cycles or anything of that sort.

Which is better in terms of 1. studies, 2. recruitments, 3. college life, and 4. exposure: Amrita, VIT Chennai or Anna University?
In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
