Fees depend on what rank or category you got in entrance exam , category 1 tuition fee - 195000 category 2 tuition fee - 304000 category 3 tuition fee - 402000 category 4 tuition fee - 445000 category 5 tuition fee - 490000 additional 3000 has to be paid as it will get refund at the end of course. scholarships are only given to those who manages to get rank under 1000.

Good for research - Bad for campus life

Fee structure depends on the category you get based on VITEEE exam. Category 1 is 1.5 lakhs while category 5 is 5 lakhs per year. Better rank students get category 1 and 2 and so on. There's an alumni fee and a development fee of around 20000

The shambles of my wonderful college

Well I actually pay 7 lakhs per annum and it really depends on how much you score on their viteee examination and based on that u get placed on certain categories and what not . There is not "scholarship " as such , but you get to pay lesser amount if your based on category 1 and increasing gradually till you finally reach the 5th category.And obviously the price ranges differently based on the course you're opting for , for example if you're a category 1 for cse core , you would pay 3 lakh per annum but if it's for the course of ece in the same category you will be paying 1lakh or so .

Year wise fee is 4lakhs + 45K for bus fee category varies according to the rank they secure in VITEEE exam conducted by VIT university no scholarships will be awarded 1st category - 2lakhs 2nd category - 3lakhs 3rd category - 4lakhs 4th category - 4.5lakhs 5th category - 5lakhs category will be given according to the secured rank

vit a place to learn a chance to grow

The fee structre is depends on your rank in VITEEE exam counducted by the VIT university every year, almost 5 lakh people write this exam and , just by your rank the fee is divided into five category , 1st category is of 2lakhs almost and the fee will increase by ne lakh if we increse the category. Myself i am studing in first category so almost its taks 16 lakhs of ruppess to complete my engeneering course in vit category 1. if we talk about the placements the avaerage package is really so good and the placements opportunities are really high if we are good enough in our academics .

VIT Chennai review

The fees structure is divided into two parts one for tuition fees and other hostel fees Tuition fees will be decided on the basis of your VITEEE rank and the course you wanted to opt, if your rank is not so good and you are opting for much desirable courses thenyou haveto pay more here ,So the tuition fees is divided into several categories from 1-5 . Mine was category 1 where I have to pay 1,95,000 per year , including 3,000 as caution deposit but if you belong to other categories you have to pay more. The hostel fees is not constant,it may be possible when the time you enrolled in hostel the fees may be less but after sometime they can increase it in anyway they want . For me I have opt for 4-bed nac and veg mess. At starting it costs as 1,07,000 and now it costing 1,38,500 . There are certain scholarship program, specially in first year where certain students won upto 50,000 rupees by reliance and other scholarship program too available internship DBS ,Amazon,micsft.. (10-60000)

A college student perspective

On this side of college, VIT is bit expensive for many. There are no COC of fines or miscellaneous charges. Hostel fees is also quite expensive here, and same goes with the mess. Different facilities such as Gym, swimming pool must be included in the hostel fees but it's also seperately charged.

VIT A DREAM COLLEGE

There are 5 categories of fees in VIT. For category 1, fees is 1.98 lac. For category 2, it's 2.98 lac. And for 3.98,4.48 and 4.98 for category 3,4 and 5 respectively. There is no fee hike for tuition fees. You can get scholarship in the form of lower categories only.
