- The distance, it is far from clusters of city
- Fees , the fees of college is a bit high. But its completely worth it

- Academics is quite impressive and very well structured.
- There are many events happening every week around the campus and boys to girls ratio is around 6:1 approx which not that bad
- VIT also focuses and encourages students to write research papers and do research work and hence this college is very famous in research field.
Dislikes
- The hostel rules are very strict, you cant even go out of campus in your 1st semester.
- 2nd semester onwards you are only allowed to leave the campus once a week and that too requires series of permissions from your protor and the hostel wardens.
- The attendance system is also very strict, if your attendance false short even like 70 percent, you won't be able to give exams. Plus debar exemptions are given very rarely if your case is very serious

- PDA guards are everywhere, normally it doesn't affect me but sometimes they won't even let you have a normal conversation

- Students get more freedom , maybe dress code , campus life , relaxed campus policies led to a stress free atmosphere
- Ample opportunities for students to take part in various clubs and showcase their talents based on their individual interests

- Maybe a lot of students feels like the campus is filled with a lot of students.
- Sudden rules and regulations that get to be implemented

- The clubs here are good indeed the extracurricular activities i like the most bcz they provide us od to skip the classes and enjoy events
- The placement is kinda good if u maintained the gpa like the average package is about 8 LPA for CSE student
- The vibrance event which held once in a year is superb

- The infrastructure of the classroom and the faculty sometimes
- The HOD and staff members in the upper department including Dean is not much into students problem they don't care
- Most like to face the difference between tamils and north indians

- I disliked about there exam and revaluation very poor
- Faculty teaching was not so good and they give us lot of work
- Sports faculties are very bad no proper grounds nor proper gyms

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents.
